Hi, do you know if this laptops supports multiple screens through the HDMi port? Whenever I use my hdmi splitter, I get 2 extra identical screens instead of 2 extra extended.
What is the brightness? 400 nits?

Could you please share if the keyboard gets warm? I've got zenbook ux434flc, and it gets warm during even modest tasks, like browsing. I have never used asus before and cant get if it is a technical issue.

Hello and thanks for your review. Can you please let me know if this model fixes the issues of its previous generation? Let me explain. I have purchased an ASUS UX430U and I noticed the fan noise, which makes me uncomfortable. I have had a Lenovo ideapad U430p since 5 years ago and wanna replace it with this ASUS, but frankly the fan noise of my new ASUS is higher than fan noise of my old Lenovo. I have two more issues with my new ASUS. Could you please help me understand them?1- When I close the lid, it probably goes to sleep mode, and I left it for hours and then come back to use it, I notice that the part of its back near power input is warm to hot! Sth happens there while it's on sleep mode. Why? That does not happen to my old Lenovo and it's completely cool during the sleep mode.2- When I click fn+f3 and turn off the backlit, after a moment, especially if I start using keyboard, it again automatically turn on the backlit with the lowest degree. I don't like this automatic action! How could I fix this?Thanks in advance for your help and suggestion.

Really great review and finally I could take a long look at the Royal Blue variant of this, since in most other cases, they cut scenes so much you cannot see it in detail.So what I get is that the only downside for me is that I will not be able to charge it through an external battery? Because it doesnt have neither thunderbolt 3.0 nor a usb c type that allows charging?If you haven't already figured it out, I'm a bit confused by this, as I have a very old laptop and it never passed through my mind that a laptop can be charged from anything else than a power outlet from a wall.

I just bought this laptop. Love the look and it's performance!
I have a similar asus laptop, however it preforms terrible. It overheats in minutes and can't even run csgo at a playable fps on the lowerst settings. I have turned everything onto high performance and made sure it was running on the nvidia graphics card.CPU: i7 10510uGPU: mx 25016 gb ram
i just watched this in 2020, but i think this laptop is still good enough for me because i just needed a great laptop that can fits my activity - typing for some assigment, cus i'm still sa student, and also the speaker, when you said that the speaker is good enough, i'm surprised and my heart said that this is the one i needed for now :P

One year later it only works if connected to the charger, sent into Asus still have the same problem.
I bought this Laptop and it is fabulous!!! fast on start (7 seconds after power-on is ready to work), fantastic face recognition and very fast during work! Great display and battery Life!
This is very helpful and informative. We also share same sentiments, I do a lot of file transfers and thunderbolt 3 is something I'm really considering in laptops. Other than that, webcam and screen aren't really that big of an issue. Thank you for this
Hi chaps! A few extra points:- Thermals are average, not bad not great. Measured max 40c underneath on Z14, 44c on Z15 under intense load. Normally, cool- fan noise mostly inaudible, under load peaks 35db (reasonably loud, but not uncomfortable or too distracting)- no coil whine on these particular models.- Icicle white colour also available, but harder to find it seems.Hope that helps!

Check for COIL WHINE before you buy. ASUS is notorious for it. Also,Asus's "engineers" do not use grounding in their chargers thereforethere is HUGE interference when you plug in external speakers. Also coilwhine will be more prevalent while on charger. If you work in completesilence the coil whine is going to drive you crazy. ASUS doesn't thinkthat coil whine is a fault but a feature of the laptop! All theirZenbook and Vivobook series are notorious for overheating. Check forthese thing before you decide to keep this LEMON.
