Guys, I own this laptop and when I first swiched it on, the QWER and ASD keys were COLOUR CYCLING in a different colour to the rest of the keyboard. When I went into Aura Core, everything changed and now I can't go back I can only get it to display a static colour on QWER or ASD. Does anyone know how I can get the QWER to colour cycle independant to ASD and the rest of the keyboard?
This might sound like a stupid question, but can this thing still run even with internal battery removed? The battery life isn't very good, and I've seen people online having their batteries swollen after around 8-10 months, so I'm tempted to just remove it and use it while plugged in, so can I?

No the reason battery life is bad is because asus chose g-sync over optimus.

Don't even buy it for mobility. I use my laptop in bed and while I was fine with my Alienware 17.After picking up the MSI G65 thin.I will never buy a different type of laptop again. It is just so damn light and powerful.I honestly haven't seen any of my games take a dip AT ALL while gaming with the Max Q verse the regular 1070. The slight difference is crushed by how damn light and georgeous the laptop is

2 things I dislike alot after using the laptop for barely 2 months, the laptop doesn't go into hibernate when I close the lid and gets super HOT inside my bag, and secondly the laptop picks up scratches like a fragile phone. I wish someone had mentioned these 2 issues in their review rather than all the sugar coated reviews online.

is there going to be an update to the model? If a laptop is perfect then No.1 thing is a better response on the screen. May buy later this year, if razer blade 15 adverts stop getting in the way.

I have the RTX2080 super version, the thermals are much better then on your unit. I'm playing Cyberpunk 2077 on turbo with most settings on high + dlss and the temps stay around 70-80 degrees, and I get 70 fps.
