Brought this monitor, 5 months later the menu osd kept flickering, i sent it back and it returned now i cannot get it to work at all, so now it's getting sent back again . Shit product and tech service so far.

what do you mean by displayport 1.2 , i am not sure i understand , there is HDMI, and then the display port, but what sort of input is that? , my Geforce GTX 1080 Ti only have HDMI ports, so how can i use a cable from that to the "Display port", so i can get the refreshrate above 60 HZ? can anyone explain that to me?

This or the Acer Predator XB241H? I mainly want a monitor for CS:GO (144Hz and all that other good stuff), but having something like G Sync for some triple A games where my fps will be around 60 would also be nice. I pretty much narrowed it to the Acer. Since that's kinda already well over my budget, but the Asus (PG248Q) dropped in price a bit, so now there's like a 30 euro difference (the Acer being the cheaper one). So which one would you recommend i get?
Does anyone have this monitor, if so does the G-sync work properly because almost half the reviews on amazon says it flickers have dead pixels when enabling G-sync.

To turn off the on screen reticle re-select the reticle but do not press the button just let it time out and it will be gone 👍🏻

I can see the difference between most monitors and have been pretty accurate in the past at telling the difference between 60hz, 75hz, 120hz, 144hz, 165hz, and 240hz. Im so sensitive to that kind of thing that i can see the flashing and strobing of the lights used in Walmart and hospitals and most businesses. But i also have not yet met a single person as sensitive to that as i am.

Do not buy this shit monitor! It has QC problems! Colors and darks are horible and black uniformity is unexeptable!!! And BTW contrast under 144Hz is ~1:600, under 170-180 1:500. This the worst monitor I have ever tested for money you pay!
I dont have a display port to connect to the monitor but instead I have a usb c to displayport adapter. Would I still be able to get the full 180hz and the G sync?

Going from 120 to 130 is night and day for me so I’m going to guess that going from 144 to 180 will be even more of a difference

There clearly is a difference between 144hz and 180hz as a csgo player and wanting to go pro its a must. You can only see the difference tho when you slow down a moving character. And my reasons on y this is a good monitor for competitive gamers is the ability to overclock to 144 to 180 without shortening its lifespan and the reason y i really like 180 hz cause its really close to 240 and yes i have tried compering 180 and 240. My second reason is its a g-sync monitor and the stuttering in a moniter while trying to play competitively is irritating. But then again thats just my personal opinion.
I wonder going to if overclocking it too 144 to 180 damage or lessen its lifespan cause normal overclocking lessens or damages moniters gpu cpu.

im late but it costs $399.99 now, in my opinion, it seems like the cheapest monitor with gsync because other monitors with gsync are too pricey but of course this one is using a TN panel which most say the viewing angles and colors look terrible and washed out. Do you still recommend this to me? i have a cyberpowerpc that has an AMD ryzen 7 2700x gtx 1080 ti 16gb ram.
