hey guys! i have it right now 2 years. heating issue, and problems with screws in the mainboard, but i got it fixed. if the temperature gets +81C change the thermal paste! Asus support is shit. if u want to use the lsptop on a desktop, the dispaly move much. :) but all in one, its not that bad. i dont get it, why evry man is saying that it is a tn or a very bad ips. it is AH-iPS (72% NTSC) wich is very good. i changed the screen an looked at the panelmodel on panellook. view angles are bad. (80/80/80) i have now chsnged the old screen because it was broken, and now im sitting with 45% NTSC Gamut and 85/85/85 cheers!

I bought an aluminum model today for $550 lightly used. Replaced the 1 TB HDD with a 500 GB Samsung 840 pro SSD. I then removed the DVD drive and placed the 1 TB HDD into a modular bay adaptor to use it instead for storage. 16 gigs of DDR4 and the I7 quad-core CPU work very well for emulators like PCSX2, Dolphin, and Redreamer. The 960m nVidia gpu on this laptop is performance-wise comparable to a desktop nVidia GTX 750 ti. So do not expect it to perform like laptops with nVidia 10xx series GPUs. If you are looking for a 15.6 inch gaming notebook, that is used or refurbished, and that can perform well in that middle-spender price range of $400-$600 then this is a good option. It has upgrade potential if you already have parts and it can max out at 32GB of DDR4 RAM. Its presently mid range, moderately priced in 2020 used, and works well. Just for examples of games tried, in my experience, it runs Fallout 4 well, runs DOOM 2016 ok, runs Warhammer Total War well, runs Dead Rising 3 well. If you can get it at a good price I recommend it

If you want something for video games do not waste your money on this. You would have a much better system for gaming if you took the money you would spend on this and put it into an OptiPlex gaming pc build. Its not hard to figure out how to make one - just look at a couple videos on youtube and study them. It is worth the time and effort in the long run and will save you the headache of dealing with this trash laptop.

right now i am using this comuter. yea it's good but don't buy it. everything works. but some games will never work like assassins creed unity. it worked before but now when they made it little more better it dont work. buy like another. i only recomend this comuter if you like having the setting on low. medium alot of times. but high dont even think about it. even if it works. because it creates alot of heat and you will be affected by it. like now i am typing and my left hand is warm but not so much. but if i opend a game right now then every finger i have on the side is really hot. strange that they did not make it in the right side. you will know what i mean but anyway. buy this if you feel like it and don't have alot of money. don't buy this 2019.

this tech ppls never show tempratures while gaming is on . We are finding channels , but no one is giving this . This is useless , because of ppls dont like overheating nowdays in gaming leptops . Thats why i dont like reviews from youtube. This is down part of youtube india . I found 5 channels from USa and uk which is showing thermal tempratures while gaming.I subscribed them and i disliked this vedio
