I own this laptop. Some points worth mentioning are: • horrible webcam (640x480, sluggish video on screen) • doesn't support Windows Hello • sufficiently loud speakers and great audio • DVD-RAM drive • rear-facing vents (no down-firing vents) • wireless chipset is Atheros QCA9377 (Dual-band 1 x 1 802.11ac + Bluetooth 4.1) which supports monitor mode but not packet injection • no visual indicators for Caps Lock, Num Lock and Scroll Lock • no extra expansion slot (PCI, M.2, SATA, etc) on motherboard apart from one SODIMM RAM slot • has support for both UEFI and legacy BIOS • body attracts lot of dust (but is easily cleanable) •no keyboard backlight

Relexmedia I bought this laptop 4months ago. Good specs inside but there are 3 main biggest problem that might leave u regret. 1. Body plastic is very delicate that once i drop accidentaly on carpet floor at waist height n it got crack on edge. 2. Battery is worst among all other laptops n u wudnt find original in any shop coz its rare. Pin size is small as mac. When u run heavy apps, games, it heat up quickly. If u use it for abt 7hrs cont, small liquid box inside battery will get leak so that means its damage. Only option is go to service centre n battle for exchange. Asus services are intimidating n lazy. If u have luck, they will replace new after abt 15 days. 3. Even while charging on extension chord, a high voltage electric can damage battery. This problem does not occur on my previous hp n dell laptop. I hope u wudnt regret.

I think 6 or 8GB RAM is the only upgrade that wouldn't cost a lot. SSD upgrade is pretty expensive  but good for gaming. The drawback is that most games todays are around 20-35 GB range and the low capacity SSDs won't suffice. Pushing the price up if you plan to play a lot of games. Otherwise a SSD+ external HDD should make this laptop pretty great. At this price range the screen quality is good. Somewhere a manufacturer is going to sacrifice something.
