This laptop overheats everytime, you can't play games without an external ventilator. it's the worst!
This is a disgustingly clean and precise review, I have the same model and got it on sale two years ago, I didn’t know the undervolt limitations and that I could over clock the gpu either. The laptop is ok with the games I want to play but that extra boost in performance will help a lot with revitalization after 2 years, since fortnite for some reason is harder to run now
I have a slightly different model and I love it, runs all my games at around 60-80 FPS still good for running modern games in 2020

I've got the same but a 1060 instead, some say that the 1060 is starting to struggle but I cant say I've seen that even right now at start 2020. Also my screen overclocked to 90hz.

rainbow 6 siege unplayable? I got this laptop over a month ago and i can play on medium settings and 120 frames per second. Even though your model is better than mine! Just try playing on charge like any normal human, it supplies the computer with more energy and power for a better performance.

bought this one 2 weeks ago but specs gtx 1060, core i5 7300hq, 8gb ram, 128gb ssd m.2, 1tb hd, and a wonderfull 120hz screen, only for 849$, i think was the best deal so far, bought on Amazon´s prime day, here is the link : PROS: -beautiful 120hz screen, u can see difference playing first person games like CS GO, PUBG, Battlefield, etc. -It has the GTX 1060 3gb, and is 40% better than gtx1050ti 4gb so far, tried on PUBG playing HIGH settings and got 90fps average , 1050ti just give u 40 to 50fps average. CONS: -worst battery life ever. just 1 hour and half on low settings and normal internet browsing. i think doing nothing u can get 2 hours of battery life. - fans are reeaaally loud, but if u re using headset with sound cancel thats wont be a trouble. Well i hope i can help u guys.

I know it's a little late but I own this laptop still and I would advise people to stay away from it, it is nothing short of terrible, design and materials are cheap, the cooling on this laptop is below average, even after a full clean and new paste over heating is still a massive issue, gives you a 120hz screen but on modern games at 1080p your lucky to hit the 60fps mark there are far better options for the same kind of money

hey can someone help me I've been using this laptop for almost a year now and then last month I update my laptop to 1809 version and then the problem start to show up on me laptop first : the boot take a while to start second: my audio one of them work and the other does not . my laptop is the some model you have it's fx503vd i need to know what to do?
I bought the same laptop but with a GTX 1060, great laptop, looks cool and premium at the same time, run ALL THE GAMES with 1080p/60fps while on charging, the only problem I had is with the left cooler (gpu cooler), I never drop the laptop on the floor and the left cooler makes a weird noise. The processor is awesome for everything, but if you need a monster for editing videos and making projects I'd recommend the i7 version, but for gaming an i5 is more than able to run all the games.
