how do you scan if it's not from a printer but a mobile scanner? I already have it plugged in it's not a computer but it's not doing anything except the power is on when it is plugged into my asus chromebook. Still trying to find the scanner, it's not a printer. Thanks so much if you can help or give a reference.

Can you install Linux Ubuntu on it to replace chrome?
These laptop's are very easy to repair and also convert into a 3G Sim-module units. I bought (2) from my local school who was upgrading their fleet. A little scuffed through use, but repaired and fully working. So, one I use in doors on broadband wifi, and the other when I'm out and about. Both being different colours so that I can't get them mixed up. Great hey! Both for just 95.00 and well pleased. I also recently swapped the 16gb eMMC on-board card for a 64Gb Sandisk drive and hot flowed it to the board together with a Hynix memory module upgrade to 4GB. They worked first time when I re-installed the ChromeOS from the SD-card. Total upgrade cost only 50.00 for the two Chromebooks... Morethan happy with the result!
2 years later and I still love this laptop. As I only use the web anyway.
Great review. I wanted to see you spend a little time seeing how the processor handled task like multiple tabs and some Android apps.
