i know its very handy but at this segment they must/should have provided rtx 3080 card, plus the price is roof blown while considering the alternatives for this you can go look for ipad new gens i havent used any of ipad but i guess they wil be close enough or i can say in budget art friendly in ios style, the designer must be lookin for, in overall ratings ya its better but not good. thats my honest opinion.

I just bought this laptop becaues of this review where you said the screen is "spectacular". This 120hz screen has a 24ms response time, which makes it awful to play anything on it. The ghosting and input lag is unbearable.I'm really dissapointed you recommended this when its so bad. Seems like you guys didn't even test it.

x13 has heat vents flowing towards display screen, does it makes it hotter ? Unlike Asus Zenbook, which has really sorted out he vents.

Just got one of these.So the ROG plug on the side for the external GPU, if you look close part of the plug looks a lot like a USB-c... so I got curious and plugged up a USB-c device to that section of the ROG port and guess what... it is a USB-C plug. The only down side is it doesn't have the metal ring around it to reinforce it. But hey extra USB-c plug if you need to charge and use a USB-C device and you don't have a dock handy.It will surprising play Flight Simulator 2020 decent on the internal 3050ti.Only downside is Photoshop CS3 (I know really old) will not load for some reason (It works fine on my desktop which is a I9-10900k/RTX2070) seems to be something with the Ryzen 9 cpu that the old Photoshop doesn't like... I guess I'm going alternative (affinity? maybe elements) as I don't use Photoshop enough to pay for it monthly.

This laptop is very good I use this for my class you can write in it ( yeah it support s pen ) and after the school rtx 3080 comes in ( it's not the fastest but it's really good )

Hi Dave, here in our country we have two configuration options for the ROG Flow x13, first is a 4k screen with a 60hz and RTX 1650 max Q, second is a 1080px screen with 120hz but with a RTX 3050 Ti. Which is better? My usual use is CAD, photoshop, 3D creation and rendering. Thanks

I hope apple and all companies who are raising prices and saying that they can't keep the device and component prices fair as they were and are supposed to be, go bankrupt and for the little guys stop getting milked by them.
since the gpu is separate, I would've expected a beefier case with better cooling and higher power for more fps. and the laptop could've been a bit thicker for better cpu cooling. What I'm saying is, this product is too portable. You can't simply make a gaming product and design it so thin for the gamers to be happy with the performance, because thin = no performance... let alone pricing it at that ultra exaggerated price... 150W separate case gpu... give me a break.
It's a cool idea, but a Macbook Air + 3060Ti desktop is the same price. The macbook air will destroy this as a work tool (battery life, webcam, mics, etc) and the desktop will also be better for gaming. They need to jack the price down or its obselete.
why not just get an Alienware laptop with 3080 already built in ...
If it were an actual pc rx 3080 in that box I d say ok, but for this much money I dont see why wouldnt one just buy a lapop with an actual 3080 inside...

I would like it if you gave more context about some of the tests you carried out.For example, you didn't mention if the battery backup test was with backlit on or off and similarly with display settings and the battery profile and/or setting like fan speeds etc. That easily creates a significant difference.Moreover, in terms of performance, LTT did a great video where he underlined a massive difference when he overclocked the gpu, and used the laptop in tent mode(for better ventilation) and got great results that way. Reviewing that aspect would have been great, specially as it could have put the thermal issues in a holistic pov(even more so as even Asus shows the laptop being used in Tent mode while gaming in their product images).However I think your presentations, aesthetics and in fact the video in general was great. :)
