Thanks so much for such a detailed review. I am waiting for this stuff to be delivered in VN. Hopefully, It will come up soon.
You are a life saver! esp Thanks for pointing the Keyboard!
Man.sorry did you work in office in real life ? 1. VGA Port - sorry but still projectors with DSUB are presents in some places in the world, its pretty old standard but still usable. Is this just a shame? this is laptop is some type of working horse in office. 2. Yes it's not total light like macbook air or other competitors, and according to plastic palmrest - what do you expect from laptop what costs less than 800 USD in the cheapest configuration ? Still this is better option than lowend thinkpad e-series. 3. Drivers on CD - better this than nothing, still USB DVD Drives are around. 4. LCD Color reproduction - yea it's not a to get some Lenovo Ideapad with the same price and start complaining 5. Keyboard - OK, should be better, but pain in COME ON, I'm spending with this laptop almost 12 hours daily, typing a code, and, it's just generic keyboard, not superconvenient, but not bad. Secondly - well if you're working on laptop a couple of hours daily, probably you have a proper external keyboard. Also complaining about steel plate under keyboard it's ridiculous - Show me another laptop in the same price range what will be enough durable to resist every day working in travel without broken lids after 6-10 months. But for god sake - compairing this keyboard to models what are a lot more expensive In the nutshell.I'm not mean that it's perfect laptop, but still better than popular vivobook, acers or other cheap plastics what you can broke in your hands with a little stronger force, what are very faulty and difficult to repair sometimes. (LENOVO, I'm looking at you!) This is not perfect laptop, and comparing to thinkpad it's totally unlogical, especialy when it's still a consumer laptop what you can buy easily almost in every gallery, and have a lot of cons. 's "pragmatic" like thinkpad or older latitude. You can easily maintaint it, if you want to clean a fan, you don't need to open almost whole laptop, it's QUIET, offer decent battery life and performance. Case is also a lot better cause as you noticed it's supported with metal plate, and almost everyscrew threads are not glued directly to the plastic, but cast together in the housing. so that nothing starts to crack after some time. After almost a year what I spent with this laptop I can really say this is one of this laptop what you can count on it and you don't need to think about that something will broke, lid will get loose etc. You can put it to your bag or bagpack, go to coffee bar or to train and it won't looks like some crap from electronic thrash after several months. If you're on budget but you need something like swissknife in business world - here it is. What other option do you have in this price range. Plastic Ideapad? Huawei matebook D with no option of ram upgrade and overheating problem ? Hp 2xx series what are made from cheapest and thin . something what I can't even name as real plastic? Questionable xiaomi books, or thinkpads E series with pentium or i3 what probably are on discount and are one generation before? We can complain about Asus and some of their questionable decisions, but this time they made good work :)
Can i code app with asus p2 ?
I like it because it for work only, 14" tenkeyless layout, trackpoint, figure print, hideable webcame, good LAN port and a vga. What can I wish more than that. I personally don't gaming much and don't want to gaming on laptop too. I mean 3D gaming, they all boring to me and what the point of sit hour in front of a laptop just to play game any way. Yet I still have some 2D game and visual novel lie around and play it a little when bored. So this laptop made for me it seem
I hate this laptop for a single reason. The zoom-in zoom-out feature cannot be used with the ctrl key + touchpad scrolling. I use this feature a lot and the fact that is not usable is so frustrating and it makes me not wanna use this laptop
it's 2020 guys! such a boring speaker!
Or what about Acer travelmate P2.
Sir ji asus pro P544FA core i5 vs Asus P2 P2451FB Core i5. Which is best for heavy work business. Or latest?
Greeting from Europe. I bought the P2451FA here in EUrope. It came with the following i7 10510u, 16 GB, 512 GB Intel 660p. Don't know if the P2 model is mainly sold in India, because haven't many reviews outside of India? But anyway its an alround great little machine. Somewhat fast CPU, fast ram etc. But the NVME isn't one of fastest. But the bottleneck on this machine is the Intel UHD graphics. Benchsmark test like Userbenchmark gives 6 - 10 fps, so thats really bad. But for text-editting, viewing streaming video and web browsing its okay. The great thing about this machine is that it extremely upgradable. The machine can handle upto 64 GB of ram at 2666 mhz (even though ASUS only claims its 32 GB). You can put unto 2 TB NVME in it. Plus an additional 2.5 SSD in it. Wish they had gone with a dual NVME setup, but I guess you can't expect miracles from a mid-range machine. Plus if one has a Ifixit toolkit, one can even replace the Wifi 5 card with a Wifi 6 card. Only thing you can't do anything about are the horrible buildin in graphics. I put an Samsung EVO 980 pro 1 tb into the machine, and that raised the the read/write from 1.7/0.9 Gbps to 3.5/3.4 Gbps. I am considering an upgrade for the ram, but that will be sometime in the new year. But all that said, the the machine is extremely durable and have good build quality. But again thank for a great review.
I have been going through your review .Atleast i have seen my-self and people buying laptop for work. Around 70% of userbase buy a laptop to work. For gaming asus and all other brands gives a different series. And in my frank opinion ,as i have reviewed laptops truly in the market for last three months, i can safely tell you one fact. This is a very very good laptop out there. Check what dell offers in 60000 INR to a home Dell Vostro 3590 with A TN display,VGA port,Optical drive also and lastly thanks to 256gb ssd and 1TB HDD that prehaps saved them.I purchased such a laptop of 15.6" inches screen and returned them after a big fight bearing restocking charges of INR Vostro 3590 had always fan working without reason. Dell told that we will replace your fan ,not laptop. I agreed on condition ,if you will put a new fan then its a point replacing fan as my laptop is new. Reply i got from dell was "We give preference to refurbished part in warranty". When i listened this line ,i told them i am paying INR 9000 from my pocket, please take your laptop back. I got 50000 back from this 59000 i got a hp laptop again for a 60k was HP Ce 3065 tu.A perfect laptop with metallic top ,sturdy bottom ,14 inches,8GB upgradeable RAM to ignore this part also while buying laptop. An upgradeable ram should be given top merit. This laptop had everything i could think or dream of and i was very happy on first day. But on very second day ,i observed something peculiar in this laptop. "A jet take off sound " from fan with even less processing burden.I delved deeper and found that this issue is very much prevalent in many hp based pavillion series. On reporting this issue, hp told that this much sound is something normally we accept as fine. Frankly if i can pass that audio clip of fan here, you will say ""O God ! what is this!"". Somewhat hp got convinced and luckily i got my full refund back and this laptop was returned i purchased a third laptop which is working very good from all aspects and has a sturdy design and great feeling to is Lenovo ideapad S340 laptop. But just today when i watched your video, i realize that even this was a good good i like in this is firstly an upgradeable RAM up to 16/32 gb. Then build quality is somewhere you wont complain. Good ips display. What you need more .Rather ,the one i got ie Lenovo idea pad S340 has a bit 8 gb RAM,this has 4gb on motherboard and 4gb on sodimm slot.Upgrading one slot ,i can go to 12 gb but if sometime an onboard ram fails, then motherboard will be replaced. Though i am not so sure that if i had seen the laptop you are showing earlier, i would have purchased only this one. First thing is 10210U is weaker in performance compare to 1035G1.Second thing is name "Asus". Why i dont like this brand is because with such a good tenacity in market ,even till date they are not fulfledged to sell even a single product from their own website like hp, dell, lenovo. Instead they place their sale links to flipkart, amazon appsThe one product ideapad S340 i got for Rs 60,990 from lenovo website, has listed price on amazon/flipkart selling same product for Rs 68000 .Earlier too i noticed HP Ce 3065 tu been sold by them with much higher margin than original seller amazon, flipkart dont give you accessories also like bags etc, offers or anything. O a long story i have frankly you are very wrong in saying that product is not that great.Product is great but someone like me will still not like to buy it is because of improper sales channel. Atleast i will never purchase a single laptop from flipkart or amazon.
I am seeing ur video of typing , u don't even know how to type ur pinky is on caps lock that's funny
Agree with you and lenovo thinbook make lot sense than this.
19 minutes of review and no mention of pwm flickering! otherwise great review.

Can you please review Asus VivoBook Flip 14 TM420
Pls make a review on msi modern 14 with new ryzen 5 4500u
Love your videos
First
that vga port is damn ugly
How many pounds did the package weight?
I bought the P2451FA here in Europe. It came with a i7 10510u, 16gb ddr4 ram, 512 GB intel 660p nvme. Its a fairly good machine, but the screen is nahhh. But that said: I have upgraded the ram to 32 GB DDR4 ram, the nvme to 980 EVO pro 1tb and changed the Wifi 9560 AC to AX201 and I will properly put a 860 EVO 2 TB in it for additional storage. But I most say the system is very smooth now and I am glad that I didn't opt for Expertbook B9450. It might be lighter, have a better screen. But I would have missed the upgradability from this machine. Note: The CPU throttled at 78 % according to , don't know if its do bad heatpipe or bad thermal past. But thats a detail I am yet to explore.
I bought this machine here in Europe, and eventhough it has scandinavian keyboard I can only find reviews of it from India. So I don't know it mainly made for Indian marked? :) I got 512 GB NVME m2 model, i7 10510u and 16 GB DDR4 ram. Asus says it can be upgraded to 32 GB ram, but if you type in the model that I have 2451fa into Crucial upgrade wizard. Then as you can see it says the motherboard support 64 GB of ram. Thats wild for a non-high end business laptop. p.s. thank you for a good review :)
If you look at asus homepage the i7 can be upgraded to 32 GB ram. However if you can trust Crucial upgrade wizard says 64 GB. So wonder what is true?
One of the best laptop available in it's segment price.
Many thanks for the Video. As I was searching for Asus Laptops and was about to place order for the Previous Model. This New Expert Series Laptop came here for my recommendation. Iam so glad and excited that now I will happily purchase this particular model.
What is the price of i5 variant? Can you help me choosing between asus expertbook P2 vs Asus Vivobook S14 S433F both i5 variant.
