Hello Ultrabook people there, thanks for an interesting review of this laptop. My question is about battery, are these 6-9 hours based on best performance or best battery life measurements ? Also can you please list down what do you do with the laptop in order to test ( please if you can be specific, I have already approached several testers and they could not be specific for the reason that they could not perform the testing at all ). My concern is following I purchase Lenovo x1 carbon 7 generation, laptop that everyone dreams about ... etc... in reality in case of a battery it is shit of what it says. sorry about that. but for 1800 euros laptop you expect more than let's say 6-7 hours of normal usage. I am a programmer/developer, but said to myself that will test this computer in normal environment (10 chrome windows open, slack, skype working. time to time music or video from youtube + office work ) i call this very normal usage. if the computer last 6-7 hours on POWER SAVE MODE reducing the brightness that i ask myself and to everyone, what is this 18 hours etc that everyone is offering... so now i am returning it back and looking for a new device, your review was good one but missing these things. thank you for a honest answer. Are the sharp edges near the palm rest really uncomfortable, to the point of getting bothersome? I'm planning to get this because of its lightness, good selection of ports, and battery life. However, I won't like it if it hurts my wrists when I have to type for long periods of time.
