Hi all, Can someone recommend a portable HI-Res audio player that does support Tidal HI-res files? If yes, with the subscription would i be able to down load the files to the device? Im not an expert on HI res, I have bowers and wilkins px headphones. If i got a HI-Res audio player ,whould I get the hi-res benifit with my headphones through wireless/Bluetooth? Or would I have to use cable? Thanks

I have this player and it is awesome BUT it's difficult to connect the usb to the laptop, it keeps saying can't connect so I have to keep taking the usb out then back in till eventually it works, can anybody tell me how this is so ?

This is more of a Promo for AK70 than a review. A real review must include its cons which are poor battery life, and extremely long charging time. Sonically, it wins its category which still makes it the best deal for audiophiles. So in that point of view, there is no competition at its price even now.(2018). I bought all players in this price range with Pioneer xdp 300r having the best flexibility and sound, and AK70 for pure audio performance. I have used a cheap xduoo x3 and a FiiO x3ii before with the same DAC. I was sceptical about getting this as I thought it might sound similar to the cheaper players. But I must say, AK 70 sounded much better than both these, felt like AK utilised the potential of the chip and beyond. * For people who doesn't bother about sound quality the any decent android phone provides better UI, battery and flexibility with sources. Battery is anywhere between 5-8 hours which is stupid for a portable music player. On a long journey one ends up using the smart phone again, making this pointless. PS:what is the meaning of the sentence : 'crystal clear sound with a wide sound stage and tons of seperation right in built to the source?' ;)
