I have the z87x oc force and find it technically superior to most if not all overclocking boards besides memory, which goes to asrock.
i Recently purchased a Display Model GA-Z87X-OC FORCE for 130$.... still chip hunting though.
Can’t seem to find out if it can handle two video cards and if so where would the video cards go.
What do you think about i7 5775c and is it better that 4790k/4770k?
i just got the 4690k + this board for around USD154 from the 2nd hand market.....duno if it works.....
The king of haswell generation is x99 motherboards.
I still use my z97 with the i4790k that I bought a long time ago. Just now started to overclock. Ordered water cooling along with liquid metal. Already removed the IHS easily. Cant wait to overclock to 4.7GHz :D
How was the Broadwell stuff? Like the 5775C? Curious how it does under LN2

Great board! Have one also, currently has an L310B batch 4770K sat in it. I do have a 4790K on the way to try in it next :)

awesome stuff.I also have a soft spot for the asrock oc formulas..
which GPU do you use? integrated? dedicated? slot4? why do you not choose the asus impact? i've heard that 1 dimm per channel has Advantages for latency, overclocking etc. i think for overclocking nobody needs a full atx board with 4x pcie. SLI + Crossfire is dead, isn't it?
I have the z77 OC Formula. The one with the Lamborghini on the box. Also with the 3770K i picked up the Asrock Extreme4 for back up. Its a solid board for what it is
