I have this board and love it! bought it in 2016 with a 6700k, got it oc to 4.8G, used it until 2019, got an 8700k, modded it and oc it to 5.2G. Its awesome when a manufacture overbuilds a board!
Not so much of a review, but more of a "features presentation", but still nicely done. You could have spoken a little bit about the component choices. is it 12 phase power for example, and 12K caps etc etc. Anyways, this looks like a really nice board, and better in fact than the Asus Maximus VIII Gene which will be its main competitor in mATX form factor. I have and X99 EVGA Micro 2 at the moment (the features of the EVGA are nice, but the quality is only so-so), and this m/b is temping me to switch from 2011-3 to 1151 socket.
It would have been to see how it fairs in the overclock department.
I have a z97m OC Not as many OC competition features but some better power user features on it. M.2 is above the first pci slot, so it doesn't get hot. 4 ram slots. Also, I prefer the colors

have been looking into this board since release. this review was great! Going with a yellow black build and this motherboard works perfect. above all else it's an enthusiast grade board supporting all that I need to make a new gaming rig "ASAP" as small as possible lol. great vid!

Bad ass board.
It's the perfect oc. I have it's bigger bother and it's not as good for dem mem speeds. My 3866mhz xmp ram can only get to 4400mhz :( need 1.75v as well
now ik that no matter how badass the motherboard is, your overclocked can be better, worse, or the same on a different motherboard, but i could actually see this for LN2 overclocking because of the 14 phase power delivery, and the fact that it has such high ram speed support
I'm not sure whether to got ITX or mATX for my next system, I've not had a lot of peripherals in my main rig for years so I'm thinking I don't need tons of features and so I should be able to go to a smaller form factor, but I want to maintain good cooling and hopefully some quietness, which likely means having a larger case, especially if I decide to go the watercooling route. Decisions, decisions :) - This kind of mobo looks like a good option however.

Tried it on a i3 8100 and it exploded , after some days tried on a 8700k and now I'm enjoying hahaha

You did it, but I can't risk it and try it on my motherboard since it's kinda rare and expensive now and it's on of the few Z170s that have the old bios for overclocking non K cpus, but damn I loved the idea
