Hi, I am using an corsair rm 650x psu, connected to a MSI B450 gaming pro carbon ac motherboard. I have installed a Ryzen 7 2700x processor and the Amd wraith prism stock cooler that comes with it and asus rx 580 gpu card .Also installed 8GB corsair LPX ram along with a 240GB m.2 ssd (OS installed ). However when I connected it to the gpu white light comes on motherboard nothing happens. The psu fan or the CPU fan doesnt turn on. I tried with connecting all the components to PSU, connecting only the CPU pin and Mobo pin of PSu and just the Mobo pin to psu, but neither scenario yeilded any results. Is the Mobo dead? Or am I missing something?

i had a bad experience on this motherboard,,, i can easily RAM OC (XMP)@3200(G.Skill Triden Z) but when i unplug my computer and start again.. it goes back to minimum speed i.e. 2133hmz.. it cannot save on 3200mhz ... everytime starting my computer it reset on 2133mhz..

I’ve been using this board with a R7 3700X for a month now. Bios update was easy, and probably not necessary. No problems so far. R23 score is 12,628. Cost me $122 USD. I’m happy. May upgrade to an R9 in a year or two. I think the B550 is a better value than a X570, unless you have specific needs.

at 1:54 when you start talking how its not like a normal motherboard.. you are showing your youth. Motherboards ALL used to look like that for years until just recently when they were ruined with a bunch of RGB flashy non-sense. Its actually refreshing to see a normal mobo without all the rainbow anime crap all over it.
I have this board and actually has 2 slots for PCIe ssd, the second one is on the right of the cmos battery but is limited to 16Gb/s
I have the AsRock Phantom Gaming 4 B550M which has 2 oz copper traces. Usually 1 oz or 1/2 oz copper. But the 2 oz copper makes a great heat sink to draw heat from hot spots throughout the whole board. Something not mentioned, but a major design advantage for heat sinking. I play Battlefied V for hours and no heat problems. I run 3 fans in case , plus CPU fan.
I have that board (but the micro atx) and i use a ryzen 3700x with 32gb ram at 3200mhz without any issue, looking for a 3600ti to pair it (now I have a radeon 470 4gb)
