Enve 35mm. 85grams. An excellent choice for millionaires.
Just buy cheapest 35 mm stem

Im running a raceface next 45mm carbon fiber stem
What’s the difference of 31.8 or 40mm stam length
I'm running the Canyon G5 stem and bar and I don't like the stem because of how it goes together. You have to take the whole top of the stem off to remove the bars. It looks super strong but i would rather just take the front ring off rather than whole top half.
It would be good to hear from people running into problems with stack heights on the shorter stems being forced to add spacers to clear chubby carbon frames
A big learning experience with regards to bike components that left an impression on me was way back in the day when the whole CNC machined components thing took off in the early 1990s. It was an advertisement by Shimano in defense of their top of the line XTR rear derailleur vs the numerous boutique CNC machined pieces coming out. They made the point that they too CNC'd their derailleurs BUT went a step further by forging them into their final shape because forging creates a much stronger piece with more consistent grain structure and less opportunity for stress risers. Just look at Thomson components. They machine their parts and from very high quality alloys. They WILL eventually crack. You no longer will ever see purely machined cranks for the same reason. Those CNC stems may look beautiful but you could probably get a far cheaper 3D forged stem thats as strong and weighs less and costs less. Lol, I am guilty of this myself owning the Renthal but had a cheap $20 Uno that was lighter and forged and probably just as reliable.
on all stems , once the stem is locked tight , you can remove the top cap and star nut
Well I WAS jones'n for the Copperhead. Love Deity and thought it'd go good w/my Blacklabel bars. BUT I really would prefer around a 5mil rise or close. I checked out those Renthal Apex and am very impressed. Saw those Apex in 50 & 60 mil reach w/a 6 deg rise and so far you're selling me on those. Nothing said here about the copperhead or ANVL stems? There are so many though, maybe another vid on the OTHER top 5 or 10 that weren't mentioned stay tuned? ~JSV
HOPEless
Sir ask ko lang yang mga ganyang brand kaya bang makipag baragan sa trails? Kumbaga matibay ba?
Why are you so concerned about it getting scratches?
Thought about shortening your mountain bike stem? Tell me about it. Why? Did it help? Hurt?
Nice. Looks like that 60 mm was like a +/- 6 (or 8) degrees. Did you try flipping it?
Short stem looks better
If you have big or long hands I can’t explain how much bigger grips make a difference in feel and comfort
it's compatible if your mtb frame is small size
I like a short stem , & wider bar I have a 800 mm bar , going to cut it one of these days
Even 60mm is still long.
Try the 80mm. XC bikes are designed to ride differently to trail bikes, and a longer stem is part of that.
get a side car so you don't wreck yourself again
More clips please. Great.
I just ordered new stem and bars. I'm going from 80mm stem to 40mm. And from 720mm bars with 5mm rise to 760mm with 20mm rise
You may need to increase your handlebar length tho?
Instead of shortening the stem put on a pair of Dimension Arc bars.
It depends on the head angle of any given frame more than anything.
Ur height?
nice!:> i have a plan to upgrade the stem of my mtb to a shorter one to make me more upright while i bike, and alleviate some weighti put on my arms because of the long stem.
I went from 90 MM down to 35 MM. I have a GT Aggressor Pro (upgraded pedals and tires). Uphills are indeed a little more difficult, but I noticed a compelling difference going downhill. It's a bit anti-intuitive because you see more of the wheel going downhill, but your weight is set back so The bike is more responsive in steering and I do not have any feeling that I am about to do an OTB. I've done some "safe" tests on it. Oh, I do feel more of the fork as well. I did an OTB on a $100 Walmart bike earlier this year. I just flipped and went face first into the ground. All the force was on my neck. I was very, very lucky. P.S. Gorgeous where your are!
Hey guys - can someone identify his helmet for me please? I really like the look
I like your videos but please do consider not adding that annoying music in between. No music would make the videos so much better. I recently got myself a Giant XTC (XC bike) with a 100 mm stem and a 630 mm wide, fairly flat handlebar. Now I feel a lot of pressure on my palms and even numbness after about 40-45 minutes of riding. I am currently stationed in Egypt and my options of trying out the perfect fit for me me are far and few between. I am not enjoying my daily rides because of the numbness in my hands and the pain in lower palms. The rides are not flat. There are indications of the hilly terrain. I climb about 100 m at the highest point and the same is the descent. Any advice in this respect would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
short stem and wider bars was the best thing for me, It automatically worked for me it brought me back far enough to where i'm not struggling to Manual to bunny hop.
