Why is it that I never have enough grip to wrap the whole handle? I use the Wilson Pro Comfort grip. I stretch that mofo like crazy and barely overlap and always barely get to the top.

Hi everyone. I am a beginner in tennis and I bought a brand new racquet. I have been told that I need to put an overgrip on top of the new one to protect it. Is this true? Also what is the difference if I remove the old grip and put new one instead to put new one on top of old one? Thank you

Perhaps you should consider changing colors. Black grip over black handle with black backdrop. Couldn’t see what the hell you were doing.
When I change my overgrip, there's usually a lot of residue from the previous overgrip remaining on the grip handle. I used a paper towel soaked in rubbing alcohol to remove it, which removed the residue but also some of the grip's coating. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

I guess I'm sloppy then cause I have never cut the end of my overgrip! oops. lol, But I at least knew how to wrap the racquet for a lefty only cause I'm a baseball player and wrapped my wood bats that way being a lefty myself. :D
Great video! I find wrapping my OGs to be a bit of a "zen" moment for me before a match - I use it to calm my head and do a little shot and grip visualization while I'm wrapping them. Tourna Grips (as of a year ago or more when I last used them) did not feature a starting taper cut to the OGs, nor did they have a sticky start spot like Wilson and other OGs. I am a lefty and used to use Tourna grips because I could wrap them "left-handed" (after cutting my own "start taper" for that direction), but for the price and convenience Wilson OGs purchased 50 at a time with the start taper and sticky start spot were just better for me since I change my overgrips as often as 2 or 3 times a week in the warmer months. Anyway the start tapers on those Wilson OGs just made it convenient to wrap it "right handed" and I found that this didn't bother me anyway as a lefty. Now, it might matter to me if I had a "left handed" wrapped racquet to begin with to wrap my OG with a left-handed turn, but I've never seen such a thing, so I couldn't say one way or the other. Also, I like about 1/8" or roughly 3mm overlap. Another tip is to fold the end of the finishing tape over about 1/8" or so to enable easy removal of that tape when you change your OG the next time.

Hey can you guys recommend the most absorbent and dry grip which will be best for a heavy sweater esp in humid, muggy weather? Even if not very durable!

When will the new Yonex grip be released?
My current favorite is the Prince Resi Pro (in white). It is neither tacky or super dry but has a nice smooth rubbery feel. Everybody needs to try it.
Is the tourna tac also sweat absorbent like the original?
Any suggestions for most durable wheelchair tennis overgrips, most I've tried get shredded so quickly.

I've tried the Wilson and the Yonex, but I find the Gamma more durable.
Good choices TW! Three of these are my favorites: Wilson Pro, Yonex Super Grap, and Gamma Supreme. Gamma Supreme is slightly heavier and thicker than the others, more cushiony, but seems to last longer than the other two.
The black super grap seems to be more durable and rubbery than the white, the white is more tacky feeling though
