Coming from an consistent running/training/ultrarunning perspective, this watch has issues. While I dig the apps, music listening ability, screen, etc., when it comes right down to it, using this as a GPS tracking watch for running hits some walls. What about you?

I love apple products However my iwatch, like you said, is so frustrating. The amount of times I've nearly launched it into orbit. Uuuughhh! Thats why I got one, to track running. Even the nike+ NRC running coach app doesn't work on the iwatch so you then have to take your phone with you if you want the Nike coach function Is that not defeating the object of the iwatch? Great review. Now whats the best running watch again

Ok I watched the rest of the ’s clear you don’t know how to use that watch. The things you dislike are non-existent in my use or can be solved with a simple setting. There is no reason for the watch to wake .
I really have to disagree. I used my series 2 for a couple of years running a few marathons. My favorite trails has physical mile markers and the watch is dead on accurate. For battery life, it will get you easily through a marathon and then last the rest of the day. I stopped watching the review at this point because the video did not match my experience.
Does the watch not have the option to view progress during workout? Seems pointless if I have a watch and have no idea pace,heart rate, distance , and time. Which to me is the whole point of wearing the watch during a run. Does the watch not sync up a run to strava?

Yes Apple Watch 2 is not best choice for serious runner. I am casual runner and have 42mm Apple Watch 2, bought $10 3rd party “Nike” band. I leave phone at home when I go for a run and Apple Watch 2 works for me. Watch last couple days for me between charges (my runs around 45 min). No problems using in 2.5 hour half marathons. For me buttons on screen does not always responsed to touch which is very frustrating! Nike+RunClub was a buggy mess though current versions are much better. iOS system upgrades has made improvements.

Finally an honest review from a "runner". Most of the reviews I have seen are from non or casual runners. So, if you are a causal runner then Apple Watch 2 is for you. For serious runners, we will stick with the Garmin type watches. Thanks again for this great review from the viewpoint of a "runner".
The newest IOS on the watch has fixed a lot of the issues you mention but there is still the issue with battery life. Still need to charge it everyday.

I initially thought DELIGHT_HACKER11 on Instagram was lying when he told me my apple watch would be be unlocked in just an hour But seriously my iwatch started working after that 30min , the guy is really a professional and reliable.
I’m leaving a review because reading them helped me decide ?た I was SO nervous about getting refurbished items but to say the least I’m extremely impressed. The watch is beautiful, not the slightest scratch on it. It did take forever to update but other then that I have no complaints and I highly recommend. I will edit this if I come across any problems with it.l in the future.
