I'm very curious... Does iPadOS keep you from replacing your laptop with an iPad Pro?
Great reviews I got one myself last week with magic keyboard it transforms the iPad I e got a LG oled and to get rid of black bars I go into picture settings and manually adjust the screen size to fill the black bars out extra step but works great having iPad full screen on 65 lol
Great review! I don't think that they will bring the pro apps to the iPad, this would make the MacBook line obsolete. I think they work well together and that's the idea they are going for too.
Great review. I 100% agree about the engineering of the M1 iPad- I still cant believe how much they cram into it in such an elegant way. For my use, it serves as a laptop and as a professional classical musician, I perform off of it regularly as a sheet music reader controlled with a pedal, something I cant do with a MacBook. If you want that type of hybrid OS device, Mac apps on iPadOS then look no further than the Surface Pro X? Try that out for a while and see why Apple is never going to venture down that path and why Surface devices are selling badly and why MS is now ditching hybrid for Android tablet apps on W11.The reality is why would Apple risk doing that, in fact, that explains why many developers will not port their MacOS apps to iPadOS, the worry that it would damage their margins? Apple has pretty much gone on record as saying that it will never happen and that these are two complementary devices, and I accept that and move on from this continued glass half empty sadness complaints that I cannot get what I want! The fact that iPads are in a supercycle and the new M1 Macs are selling very well suggests that Apple would be stupid to risk all that for a tiny niche market of YT comments wanting something that no one has done acceptably yet!Judge the iPad Pro for what it does not what it doesn't as the latter is pure fantasy and should not be a stick to hit Apple just because some users do not get what they want! Accept that "pro" means apex device, not that it is aimed at prosumers only, the same reasoning that applies to the iPhone line. I have a MacBook Pro and iPad Pro and together they work in sync to get whatever I need to be done and I do not care if FCP is not on the iPad, as I can use it on the Mac! Enjoy it for what it does and you will be far happier!

I'd absolutely choose a MacBook over an iPad just about any day if I could only choose 1.
I went with 11". 12.9 is out of my price range for one thing, but also way too big for me.
Excited to see your iPad Pro vs MacBook Air video. That is my decision for the moment. I have an incredibly old MacBook Pro and an old iPad Pro 9.7 inch. Both on their last legs so Im looking for an upgrade. Im a teacher and tend to use my iPad for a lot of content. But this last 18months Ive had to use my MacBook more too. Typical I tended to do most of my work at school. I had been put off going iPad based only as things like PowerPoint didnt have the option to add audio onto the slides. Hopefully as you say we see some improvement from that aspect and it will make my decision easier as I dont feel I need both!
I just ask my dad for the iPad Pro 11 inch but idk if i will get before the summer ends

to whoever is struggling to pick whether you should get the 12.9 inch or the 11 inch and you dont want to wast to much money I say go for the 11 inch It is a very good size and I think it is pretty big for me. I was going to get the 12.9 inch and not get the magic keyboard but ive found that I use the magic keyboard quite often. I got to get the magic keyboard the ipad and the apple pencil for about $1308 I could get the 12.9 inch and the apple pencil for the same price but without the magic keyboard even more actually. Its a perfect size and its very portable and easier to carry around. I think it is a perfect size for school work and zoom meetings. I absolutely love it and its the perfect size for me.

A la rigueur si la chose permettait de miner, je dirais oka (et encore) mais a reste un produit Apple old generation, en ce sens :un systme exagrment ferm, trs peu de nouveauts significatives, des captations de donnes la vole systmique et systmatique; et un prix totalement crazy.Pour que lobjet ait du sens, il faudrait quil sinscrive dans un nouvel cosystme que la marque reste incapable de crer. You dont have M1 level performance on the iPad Pro. Lets be honest this guys use the iPad Pro fifth generation and he knows its exactly the same performance as the previous iPads. If you put two generations of iPads next to this fifth generation no one would be able to tell the difference in smoothness in image quality. They look exactly the same. Theres a minor difference watching HDR in that the whitesHow about 5% brighter on the GEN five tablet but its not jaw-dropping. Its not jaw-dropping like an OLED is to an LCD. We dont really have adobe Photoshop do it. We still have a dumb down version of Adobe Photoshop. There isnt and never will be true pro level apps for this iPad. Notice hes not using Final Cut Pro. Because it doesnt exist for his tablet and never will. The M1 chip its like putting Lance Armstrong on a tricycle. He will drive that tricycle impressively fast but he will not win the Tour de France. Lets stop trying to pretend the iPad Pro is a substitute for a MacBook Pro or a desktop computer. It is not it is still an entertainment consumption device. Its not a professional tool. There are some artists to do great work on the iPad. And the iPad is truly great at what it does. If you dont have a tablet and you somehow need a tablet that you can draw with then certainly you should consider the iPad Pro. Just dont upgrade from a previous version because they have done nothing on theFifth generation iPad to improve the user experience for creatives artists and the typical end user. Exactly the same iPad as the last two generations with the exception of a wide angle lens and 5G if you want that. But make no mistake 5G does not make your tablet into a phone.
