Nice unboxing, this does look like the iPad we have all been waiting for. Just for the screen alone. But the price is just to high, unless they come out with a IOS update (WWDC is right around the corner) that adds a much better file management system and pro apps like Final Cut Mobile. Otherwise a new MacBook Air is a better bargain for most content creators, because by the time you buy the iPad, Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil 2, your way beyond the price of a Macbook, which is more capable at this point. That being said I can't wait to see what you can do with awesome iPad.
Can I get a 12.9 model with less storage an still use LumaFusion to work on files in external storage without having to copy it over into the iPad? Or is that only for the 1-2tb models?

Hi DailyTekk I want one suggestion. I have iPad pro 2nd and 3rd generation. I am professor and I am using my iPad for teaching students on zoom. Even we use my iPad for watching tv shows. I have ordered one iPad pro 2021. But, because of lockdown it got delayed for delivery. Now, new thought is developed in my mind for buying new iMac 24" instead of iPad, which I can use for teaching students and watching tv shows as well. But, Only thing is I can't carry it with me while travelling. I am bit confused between these products. Please help me for choosing one of them. I was really torn between the 256gb WiFi only/5G option. I was thinking with cloud gaming being massive over the next few years that I had to opt for the 5G option. What is your view on the consistency of tethering? Would you get more disconnects/slower speed? Shame I don’t live in the US to claim the rebate for the cellular option .
I can’t believe you didn’t get 5G on your iPad Pro. I ordered a new one as well and cellular is a MUST for me. This is the first ever 5G iPad and you don’t want to review that 5G capability to make more videos? Wouldn’t have dropped over 2 grand on a new iPad and skimped on $200 for cellular, dude. Especially if you have any desire to futureproof the thing. Pandemic isn’t gonna last forever. 2021 iPad Pro 12.9” 2TB Cellular preorder for me.

You don’t have M1 level performance on the iPad Pro. Let’s be honest this guys use the iPad Pro fifth generation and he knows it’s exactly the same performance as the previous iPads. If you put two generations of iPads next to this fifth generation no one would be able to tell the difference in smoothness in image quality. They look exactly the same. There’s a minor difference watching HDR in that the whitesHow about 5% brighter on the GEN five tablet but it’s not jaw-dropping. It’s not jaw-dropping like an OLED is to an LCD. We don’t really have adobe Photoshop do it. We still have a dumb down version of Adobe Photoshop. There isn’t and never will be true pro level apps for this iPad. Notice he’s not using Final Cut Pro. Because it doesn’t exist for his tablet and never will. The M1 chip it’s like putting Lance Armstrong on a tricycle. He will drive that tricycle impressively fast but he will not win the Tour de France. Let’s stop trying to pretend the iPad Pro is a substitute for a MacBook Pro or a desktop computer. It is not it is still an entertainment consumption device. It’s not a professional tool. There are some artists to do great work on the iPad. And the iPad is truly great at what it does. If you don’t have a tablet and you somehow need a tablet that you can draw with then certainly you should consider the iPad Pro. Just don’t upgrade from a previous version because they have done nothing on theFifth generation iPad to improve the user experience for creatives artists and the typical end user. Exactly the same iPad as the last two generations with the exception of a wide angle lens and 5G if you want that. But make no mistake 5G does not make your tablet into a phone.
