my girlfriend has the 3rd gen 12.9 inch ipad pro, i had the 1st gen ipad pro 11 inch (both 2018 model) , and i always found myself using hers instead of mine. i hated how small the 12.9 inch ipad made my 11 inch feel. after you use the 12.9 inch for media use alone it will make you want the bigger screen. i sold my 11" and upgraded to the 5th gen 12.9 M1 and im very excited for it to be here on friday! Its all preference!
If the iPad is your primary device and you don't have a computer get the 12.9-inch Pro with the Magic Keyboard if you can afford it. If you already got a computer, 11" is much better as a tablet.

As an artist, I think the larger screen is very useful, especially for multi-tasking apps, I can have my reference photo and procreate opened and it's really big and nice. But promotion........I have upgraded from an air 4, ......I used an air 4 for two years.... I don't see it. lol... I honestly by God's last name and his sister, am completely unable to see the difference. Maybe my eyes are broken...

Been a android user most my life , and finally switched over to apple exclusively about a year ago and have never looked back . A lot of improvements since I first tried an apple product . My only real issue is the limitation apple put on the ram usage , I know its been updated from the original release with the more recent os updates ,Which is nice , but still limited considering how much is available in the 1 and 2 tb pro models . That being said Ill probably still splurge on the 1tb pro model as Im still using the 3rd gen pro and should still be a decent increase for me . The tablet is my main device. And use it for everything. As a new nft artist the 12.9 is is definitely worth getting . Curious tho to see how much of an improvement itll be using procreate with the m1 model .Thanks for the review

What is someone able to do with this powerful IPad when many of the software(apps) are so cumbersome to get any "real" work done. Unless you need super fast chip to watch youtube/netflix or browse webpages (somehow) faster, then this ipad with M1 chip is ridiculous
