Poor quality my anker soundcore xl is already damage almost 4months I used... they didn't recharge now.. I already junk couse the warranty is in Qatar and I'm in Philippines now

USB charger port quickly started to falter on mine. Took 15 months or so until I finally couldn't charge it anymore rendering it useless. Decent sound for the price. I was always afraid to do anything else rough to it since the USB was so fragile. I would have liked the product a lot but because of the unreliability of charging it I often didn't use it and because of this I would never buy an Anker product again.

Hi there can you please make a troubleshooting video for this device ??? Coz i have a problem connecting with Bluetooth with my iphone ... it keeps tell ( be sure you turned on or it is in the range ) I don’t know what to do?? Pls help
Mine wasn't so waterproof, dropped it in 1ft of water for less than a minute. Didn't work afterwards. The cover for the ports was seated securely. Reading the product info right on Amazon it's supposed to be waterproof up to 1m deep for up to 30 minutes. Maybe I got a defective one.

15hrs battery life is just ok? That's amazing battery life
I own the Anker premium. The bluetooth connection sucks and the sound is too muffled to enjoy. If you can adjust the bands above around 2k+, then it is very nice: I cannot use it without the adjustments. It is loud and nice for those old cars that have stereos so old there's no BT or Aux jack. I have to wire it up, though, as the BT connection fails constantly with my LG Volt. It has good amount of bass for the size. I hope they fix the highs and BT connection and upgrade with some larger drivers: I think that would be pretty honest speaker to listen to.

If you still have this, can you comment on the active compression that causes the volume to fluctuate drastically over the course of each track?

My inlaws brought me this as a xmas gift. It is one of the best mobile speakers I have ever come across, despite people saying about its weight I don't agree its good weight which prevents it jumping around. I would certainly buy it if its what you are looking for.

is it recomendable for car use? we have a golf 5, and no aux or usb ports :/... just need semi decent sound for the car, the 16 watts this one has is definitely dope for normal use
Unfortunately mine was a disappointment. Range was grossly overrated and usb port failed. I consider it a poorly made product and I would never buy from Anker again.
Hello! Anker Soundcore Sport XL vs Divoom Voombox Party 2... Which is better?
FYI , for those who bought the Anker Soundcore Sport XL speaker for their PC / HP computer and find it pairs up ( you can see the icon) but doesn't connect......try holding down the Minus & Plus or the Minus & Bluetooth Icon on the Anker unit and it should connect. Otherwise . with a Tablet or Smartphone, it should pair up right away . Just forwarding what worked for me in case others have issues connecting to their PC.

Hi Jon, nice review. One question. Now I have the soundcore sport, the small, but I am a good sound lover and Anker products. I am just a follower of them by the soundcore that I have. But, do you think there is a great difference with the sound, comparing the XL with the sport normal? I want a clear sound with the same level or better of hights and mids that have the sport normal, and better bass, so sacrifying weight and size. What do you think, is interesting the change for a good sound?

Soundcore xl for me is the best compared with other speaker. The base is not bad, sound is more natural at very clear. Thanks for comparing same brand!

Looks like they got the freq. response a bit opposite of their Premium (A3143), huh. This is treble heavy, the Premium was bone dry in the upper range (I own it. It doesn't come across in the video on my laptop speakers). I hope the BT connectivity is better than the Prem. Hate that auto-adjusting volume level the XL has going on, drats.
