Ayy lol - I got my SoundCore 2 for 26€ on Aliexpress during the 11.11 sale of 2020. (Bought it cause my classmate had one, it seemed good when I had used it and I like cheap (but still good) Asian brands (e.g. Xiaomi (have a phone and the band)) The SoundCore 1 seemed inferior (considering that it is older and not waterproof) and the price difference was only about 2€ or some listings even sold it for a higher price than the 2. I guessed the speaker test correctly from your video just cause I know the 2 should be more bass heavy. And, yes, it might distort more on high volumes. Haven't owned or seen the SoundCore 1, but my experience with Anker in now really positive. (Except that I couldn't connect mine and my mate's core 2's using the True Wireless Setup cause his is the older version)

Summed up Both comes with: 1 AUX port. 1 USB charging port. 1 Integrated battery.(non removable) Bluetooth connectivity. The same amount of buttons. 1 charging cable, albeit very short ones. Charge while playing music. Neither has a built in radio. Does not come with an AUX cable. ---- Differences --- Soundcore 1: (Positives + ) Better clarity at absolute MAX Volume. (Negatives - ) Less rounded corner design. No ipx protection. Worse buttons . Worse bass & less clarity at low/medium volumes . Does not have pairing feature with another speaker. (you can manually connect two of them with a 3.5mm cinch cable, a Y-cable that is) 3 Watt per speaker, x2 = 6 Watts total. Slower charging. (USB Type Micro A jack) Bluetooth 4.0 or 4.2 (unsure, as amazon listing claims 4.0 and then later 4.2) ---------------------------------- Soundcore 2: (Positives + ) Has a more rounded corner design. Has better bass and clarity at low/medium volumes. Ipx7 water protection. Better buttons . Has pairing feature with another Soundcore 2. 6 Watt per speaker, x2 = 12 Watts total. Faster charging. (USB Type C jack, uncofirmed might be A) Bluetooth 5.0 (Negatives - ) Sounds a bit worse at absolute MAX volume. ----------------------------------- (Negatives and positives are in comparison to eachother) [Probably missed something, let me know.]
