UPDATE: I got a replacement pair of SoundBuds Slim+ -- same great sound as the first pair, and I'm happy to report the multi-function center button has normal clicking action! Seemed like a one-off defect, happy it turns out to be true.

I had the worst experience with Anker Soundslim. It gone bad on the first month itself. It has very poor quality.
Best 22 bucks spent. Have them for 4 years now. They are so goood. Decent sound quality, great battery life and the very best build quality !
These buds are truly great and have audio quality way above their price point. I used them every day for the past year, and they only last a bit over an hour now. Only reason i didn't drop another $30 for them was because I couldn't find any more. I'd buy them in bulk if I could

Just ordered these earbuds and I was nervous so looking at the reviews and comments makes me feel at ease
So I got the liberty pro 2s and I have recently got a pair of soundbud slims + and I shit you not the liberty 2 pros are only a tiny bit better in audio quality. I love the anker sound. I used a few headphones of high quality audio technica and senshiser and these earphones are better than both those headphones. If your after sound quality get the slim plus they are cheap and better than a lot of earphones 6 or 7 times the price and don’t waste your money like me on the liberty pro 2s as they are only a bit better than the slim+ and I would consider myself a semi-audiophile
the issue with these headphones and many in-ear wireless headphones is that the earpiece needs to be insterted quite deep into ear canal to actually stay fitted, and also due to the thinner shorter wingtips- not as good a fit as the stayhear tips of bose sie and sounsport range.
I got Anker soundbuds slim yesterday i am satisfied with it hopefully it will work good .
They are superb earphones. I use them all the time. Bought them in the UK in 2018 for £25 (roughly $21) and still using them in Sept 2020. Have been out in the rain with them on my bike several times and they are totally waterproof. Obviously wouldn't jump in a pool with them. My main (only) gripe is I sometimes get drop out on the bluetooth signal while walking in the street. I can have them on around the house with my device in the kitchen or upstairs and I can be in the garden and they are fine. But there have been two or three occasions when I have had my phone in my back pocket and the reception has bottomed out while I walk in the street. But hey, for 20 quid, I still love these earphones. When we were first able to buy wireless earphones on such a mass market I loved it. I love having earphones in, even while just watching TV or stuff on YouTube on my laptop. Prefer it over having surround sound in my room while watching a movie. But I always hated how if you stood up without thinking, or, made a sudden head turn or wires caught in your shirt it would be a drama. I visited the States last November and actually thought I'd left my Ankers in my room. Was about to order a new pair and then found them in the inside pocket of my suitcase, which technically was daft as I shouldn't have had a lith-ion battery in my checked in baggage, but what the hell, I got them back lol. Great earphones and avoids the need to fork out $$$ for sophisticated Bose or even Apple's earbuds.

How does the slim + sound quality compare to the liberty air 2?
I got SoundBuds Slim+, they are very comfortable, but bass is bad. Comparing only sound, JBL Endurance Run BT, JBL's blow them out of water. On the other hand, Soundbuds are more comfortable.
The slim plus has more battery life
Ive got about 10,000 hours, yes, Ten Thousand hours, on the same pair of Anker Soundbud Slim plus. Has never failed me yet, has developed a very minor issue sometimes it disconnects, but connects right back up after switching it Off and On, and its a very rare issue. So I've definitely got my £20 worth out of it, i wouldnt suggest any other!
Just get to the point with this review dragging it out for almost 14mins.
ive been usin the same pair of buds since early 2019 and they're working just as well, only gripe i can say i have with them is the slightly flat bass but otherwise absolutely amazing especially for 20 dollars

The behind neck cord adjustment thing has me confused. I got it on via the 2 side channels but can't figure out how I'm supposed to get the cord through the middle one as well.

Thanks you for not just talking about the microphone, but testing it out and giving us a demo on how it actually sounds. it's hard to shop around for earbuds with decent mics when nobody even tests the mics out. I'm really tempted on getting these. Only the lacking base is stopping me. Gonna shop around a bit more.
