So i take back what i said 1 month ago, So today I've gone in the shop and said, "yo how much speed can i have on my hub" They inspected it(remind that i had 8 speed pre installed with bo visible gap)and said "10 speed" I said"yo thats awesome, gimme yo cassette" They said we only have 9 speed available now, So i installed it, without any hassle, and voila, it was worth it

Right now I have a trek 3900. It has an 8 speed on the rear. I found a trek 3500 on ebay. The frame is just a different color. Thats the reason I wanted it. After a little more research I found that the 3500 came equipped with a 7 speed. As the 3900 came equipped with an 8 speed. My goal was just to swap all my parts from my 3900 to the 3500. My question is will the 8 speed rear wheel fit on the 3500? I dont have the 3500 yet. It's still in the mail. Thanks. Love the videos you make.

Are the HG50 and HG62 cassettes completely identical in every way except the model number? Even in material and construction? The HG62 was recommended to me for use on a powerful middrive motor ebike build due to it being strong durable hardened steel. I am having a hard time finding the HG62 10 11-36T domestically so if the HG50 is totally identical then they are easily found online. Thanks in advance for answering my question! :) Cheers!
looks like the spider is only for the last two sprockets. anyone know this is definitely the case? i can fit 8 of a 10 speed on my hub and so this would be better for me (after drilling out the pins) than the alloy spiders that have the last 3 leaving me with only 7 speeds

For around 30g weight I think is not issue, what I see problem at this cassette is you want to change the cogs, to fine tune ratios
