Hmm, I prefer my Coty Airspun Extra Coverage over this one. The FInish of Coty makes my makeup look better, as in it blurs and smooths my face; PLUS it looks natural/texture free. This Almay one doesn't have that wow factor, and I bought it in Medium and even though I fall around NC 42 in MAC it darkened my concealer and foundation about 1/2 a shade. Also this Almay one added texture to my face, so my makeup looked more makeup-ey, instead of undetectable and smooth. It looked good when my oils came through, but Im thinking everytime I use this Almay powder I will have to follow with a setting spray If I want it to look good from the get go.I used it today on my face, since the MEDIUM shade darkens my concealer, but I might try it tomorrow again all over my face and eye area, to give it the benefit of the doubt since you liked it so much. As it is now, my Favorite powder is Coty Airspun Extra Coverage. I'll comment tomorrow my final thought :3
Thanks for getting back to me all check it out also ulta has it now but seems more pricer but might be worth it 13.49 all check Walmart have a wonderful day

WOW!!! I've used Covergirl Loose Powder for years and years and years, but I'm buying this. THANK YOU, Christina! Question for you (haven't watched ALL of your videos yet)... My daughter is 17 (this month) and finally wanting to start wearing more makeup (foundation, mascara, blush, lipstick). She currently only puts on lip gloss. She has flawless skin, so I have NO idea where to begin finding her a foundation...brand OR color. I've explained before I'm a Disabled Veteran on a strict budget, so I can't go out and buy 10 or 15 different bottles or spend a lot of money. Any advice on where to start, or a brand to try that's pretty easy to match? She's not pasty and has a little natural color because of the small % of Cherokee, if that helps...? I'm at a loss here. I appreciate ANY advice you can give and value your opinion. THANK YOU!!!
I really love the Smart Shade pressed powder- it's talc free and it doesn't go all clumpy/cakey. It's a beautiful finishing powder! I'm a weirdo, most people hate it, but I really like the Smart Shade foundation stuff, too :D
Thanks for the video! I've wanted to try drugstore makeup and haven't seen many for Almay
Thank you for this video!!! I'm new to make up and I have a coupon for Almay and have no idea what each product is for.I want my skin to look even/flawless (I have acne and scars on my cheeks :/) so would foundation and concealer work ? Do I need like a setting powder or primer ? I play sports so I don't want anything too heavy on my face.
Almay was a high-end drug store brand. I do like some of their products. Thanks for the review
Smart shade items always intrigue me because I'm bad at finding a good shade for myself haha. Thanks for the great video!
this is the first time i heard about it . thank you for sharing
1 mascara...about US$18, face powder about US$28...concealer US$15 more or less...
Have never been able to get Almay mascara to work well and they were very irritating to my eyes. I just tried a new one, too. I started using Almay as a teenager over40'years ago.
Almay is a High End brand in Costa Rica
nice video
I love ur first impression video's TFS

thanks for this video it is really cool
Nice video ...thankx for sharing dear :*
I have never tried almay's products before. Will tried it out next time because these products looks pretty good!
love this!! I subbed :) I also have a channel!
Covergirl ... Almay side looks ashy and aged you
I like the covergirl better, the almay powder looks ashy on your skin tone.
Girl you did good with the Almay! I can't tell the difference!! It's normally a no go for me with Almay but that looks great on you! You go girl!
I love the covergirl powder better because it looks good
What I've noticed with Revlon, Almay and Cover Girl, particularly with eyeshadow kits, is that those companies will discontinue products, but later, repackage some or all the shades and introduce them as part of a new line. Or, make subtle changes in the dye lot so a once matte color is now a shimmer or vice versa. This is cosmetic company trickery to get us to buy even more makeup. Another thing is to copy each other's best selling shades, which explains how we wind up with a bunch of mildly varied lipstick tones, for example.
Im torn between 100 and 200. What shade are you normally say if you use Bareminerals tinted moisturizer or WnW photo focus dewy Foundation?
Beautiful, so healthy and glowing!Thank you for explaining so well too.
Great video for my favourite makeup Almay with SPF. I have worn 100 and 200 all my life (winter/summer seasonal changes) and love the product as it always makes my skin look natural and moist. I am blessed with great skin which this product just enhances... from a gal in her seventies who lives in a harsh climate at times (Canada) thank you for the very nice dialogue and demo.
Is $6 good or bad for 25 wipes? I hate the Neutrogena Wipes they leave a gross residue.
If they didn't animal test I would definitely buy.
The CVS in my area was having a sale on Almay recently and I picked up 5 of the Goddess glosses: flame, dreamy, magic, rainbow and fairy. I love lip products and I'm pretty pleased with these glosses. I like them as a topper to add shine and dimension to my lip look. Not gritty or sticky and great price! Highly recommend!!
I think your makeup looks beautiful! Would you review Milani's cosmetics lip and eye shadow toppers?
I'll definitely be checking out the foundation. I currently use the L'Oreal BB cream which is very similar in that it applies on white and blends out to a skin tone. However, it lacks SPF and all those skin nourishing ingredients you mentioned. The L'Oreal BB cream is my go to for my easy fast days where I either want a minimal look or just don't have the time in the morning. The Almay looks like a true upgrade. Thank you for this review, it was very helpful.
Dimethicone second ingredient of foundation :(
Think last time bought from almay was lip butter shades . Where range nudes, berries, red for each skintone. But discontinued them.
Almay is kind of missing out on the whole Glossier girl marketing angle. It has always struck me as a more "natural look but better" brand, similar to Neutrogena. If that minimal makeup angle was something they took, I think their makeup would be more popular because a lot of people like that about Glossier. There isn't really a drugstore brand that positions themselves quite in that way. While I don't personally always love the Glossier/low maintenance beauty look, there is a place for it. Your finished look was great! Thanks for the review!
The foundation looks very nice on you. I notice many makeup artists are using highlighter on the tip of their noses? It seems odd to have the tip of the nose, flashing light. I have used the eye make up remover pads in the past. They are very nice.
I stopped buying Almay when they exclusively used Carrie Underwood in their commercials, saying "get the 'American' look" as though ppl who don't have blonde hair and blue eyes don't look American.
I used to purchase Almay, however once they discontinued my holy grail masacrara I stopped purchasing. Drugstore brands change their formulas and products too often and I only buy from them if Im in a pinch, i.e Revlon, Almay, Maybelline, etc. I like Essence, Flower Beauty and Nyx products better.
Like the products thinking of buying them
I will try the color shifting base. I like the fresh natural look.
I am thinking about purchasing these products now. I like the soft look and it would be nice for someone maybe starting out on makeup application.
You look especially pretty in this viedo!
I remember only trying the shade matching powder which was a fail; the color deepened the more you worked it in, so you ended up with different colors all over the face!
