I know both big brands and medium brands like ernieball or rotosound. all valid. the chinese in short, with a little optimism I would say that all in all for the price they don't cost they play. but who knows what
My favourite strings, and i've tried all from ernie ball, daddario, etc. Dirt cheap and durable, no brainer solution for a broke metalhead like me :) Absolutely love them. And they last longer under my extremely sweaty hands, than any other brand.

unbelievable！I used to buy this strings while I was a poor boy who wants to learn how to play guitar. This string is the only one I can afford. A lot of sweet memory .enjoy It.
When i fitst started playing electric guitars, i used nothing other than ernie ball and D'addario strings. I really like ernie ball strings n preferred them over daddarios cause they are very smooth, they hold tunings well, n great tone too. But after some time, i purchased these Alice strings, not with the intention of using them for long periods of time but just to check them out. N i was really surprised by these Alice strings. They were as smooth n comfortable to play as the ernie ball strings. But tonally, i would still prefer ernies

I was always skeptical about china products, especially musical instruments, accessories and after being posted in China for work, i began to appreciate their one of them is Alice Acoustic Guitar Strings. I used to use D'Addario EXP and Elixir Nanoweb coated strings on my Taylor and Martin. But one time, i re-strung my Taylor with an Elixir, i became a little bit frustrated after the gig that night, the coatings seem to "tear" off. On my Alvarez guitar, I strung it with Alice AW430 coated strings, and i was surprised that after a gig, the strings looked flawless. The tone doesn't really much differ from the Elixir, and the price. I can get 4 AW430's for the price of 1 Elixir. but dramatically compromising my can't really hear a difference, but you will feel the difference in your pocket.
I've been using these cheap Chinese made strings from China for about a year now. They sound great and are very cheap, I can get no-name generic brands for as low as $1.15 a pack (and that INCLUDES shipping), my favorites are about $2. As a broke college student that's perfect. The only problem is quality control, some sets have lasted me for 3 or 4 months, and some packs have only a week. But that's how most string brands are in my experience.
i have used the 011 strings for acoustic guitar. They are coated and last as long as elixirs in terms of the tone. they are like 10% of the cost. i only changed them out after 9 months of frequent playing. Not because of loss of tone but the G string develop notches because i left the capo on for too long.

Rich, I bought 4 different boxes of Alice Picks most of them are like the type of thick gauge Dunlop picks that usually cost over a buck a piece. I now have a lifetime supply and them were like around less than 9 bucks or less and shipped for free. I must buy more of them as they are great and I can loose them without going nuts like I would if I lost one of the Dunlop pick Fat Boy picks

That's interesting, my first ever guitar came with a couple of packs of these. I still use one of the empty packages to hold a bunch of my picks. You can probably guess my first guitar wasn't of the highest quality.
