Well, the layout of the kit is a complete deal breaker for me, but it actually sounds better than a lot of more expensive e-kits. Some superb drumming there btw at the end, playing like that on that kit is very impressive. *bows down
This is one of the worst drumkits avaliable, I currently own one and I am so disapointed. The snare drum is in the wrong place, the high hat pedal needs real weight behind your foot to register it being pressed, the bass drum pedal has a click which is louder than most headphones, and I've only scratched the surface of the problems I've had with this drum kit. DO NOT BUY THIS SHITTY KIT

Despite a few negative comments, I found this to be a solid and great sounding kit.  However, the drumsticks provided are awful - going to get a nice pair of maple sticks ASAP.  Otherwise, this is an amazing drum kit for the money.
would like to have seen a drummer playing the kit. :P

How do you change the volume of a specific pad?
That bass pedal is way to clunky
so it does include Drum chair?
Save your money folks! I've had this for less than a year and the snare pad has a shortage in it. I hit it once and it's as if I've hit it a million times. I switched it out and replaced it with the low tom- its not as bad now. The Hihat pad is also starting to loose its sensitivity. The rubber started peeling not long after I had it- which for the cymbals, i guess its understandable.There is a screw that keeps the ride and crash cymbals in place and ever so often- they loosen and eventually fly out as I'm hitting the cymbals, which sends the cymbal spinning around. The bass and Hihat pedals came apart the first few days that I had it- they are now secured with masking tape. Not to mention-it came without a power cord to actually play the thing- luckily I had one laying around my house that fit. I use it as a practice kit but, I dont recommend it for experienced drummers. Save up your money for a great kit, don't settle for this one. Definitely not worth 300 bucks. Not even sure if I can sell it because, the little modifications I had to make to it makes it look make-shift.

The bass pedal sounds very loud and crappy to me. I think that wouls be annoying for silent practice.

Hey mate! Great video, I just purchased one Dm lite and connected to my Mac, I use Logic Pro X but I think it's the same as garage band. I have an issue with the hi hat, the Mac only play it open.. I explain better : even if I press the hi hat pedal the sound of the hh stay long... But when I only hit the pedal with the foot one time the sound is short (the proper sound of an hh) Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hi Richard - Do you have any problem getting the DM lite hi hat pedal to play closed hi hat through garage band ? basically the only sound I can get is open hi hat!

Thanks for posting your test. I just picked up a DM light today. A couple questions. Are you using the stock hi-hat and bass drum pedals? And are you able to use the different kits in Garage Band basically just using the DM light as midi triggers? This is the first digital kit ive had or even messed with so I’m scouring YouTube for info. Thanks again!
