I just got one how do you turn it on?I'm having a bit trouble with it
Is there a specific recommendation of "pad assign" setting to include all parts of main drum kit (snare, tom, bass, cymbal etc)?
You know while pad assigning you can use the wheel to browse sounds faster

Seeing you play it on a music stand at and angle, that is probably a good thing, rather than a flat table. I might have to get something.
Thank you so much. I'm a huge Muppet fan. At the thrift store look for any Muppet toys. I got Animal pants and a few different Animal hats and boots. When I wear them everyone asks me if I am a drummer. I have a Djembe for basic drum circles, but that's it. So I decided I was going to challenge myself to learn a music skill! I am tone deaf, so drumming is perfect for me.

I have a 12 year old son, and when I ask him, what musical instrument he wants to learn, he always says, he wants to play the drum. Maybe he would be a big drummer, or it would be take just for 2 weeks, I don’ know . But I decided to buy him an electric drum set for X-mas. This drum set you are introducing here is reasonably priced, the others are very very expensive. Would you recommend to Alesis Compact kit 4 a completely beginner 12 year old? Thanks for your help!
