🔹Eye Health QOTD: Which type of contact lenses are you wearing? Do you wear monthlies, dailies or specialty lenses? Which are you favorite brands?
I know he's an eye doctor but the teeth though!! Amazing
Hi, can you review solotica lenses?
Which contact lenses with prescription do you recommend: daily or monthly? Can I have varifocal lenses?
Hii I have a question that my eyes have stigmatism and I want to wear coloured lenses so are there any lense company you would reccomend that they make them
This video is so weird because I came here to learn how to take car of my contacts better, but the brand this guy is boasting about is the worst product I've ever put in my eye. Like after 2 hrs of wearing my eyes are watering, itchy, red, unfocused, and feels like i have a thick sheet over my eye. But he likes them....why? They are so uncomfortable
For the day and night lens come in a toric lens?
I wish my eye doctor was even half as thorough as you are.. They didn't tell me any information at all about which lenses are best, the options I had or even what level my prescription was.
Air optix are my favorite
So you can buy your own contacts without purchasing through your Dr?
I used to wear Acuvue, and switched to Air Optix like 5 years ago. Best decision I've ever made. I tried Biofinity and for whatever reason they just refused to seat properly.
Bioinfinty's are the best but a bit expensive. 3month supply= AUD 150
I would kill for those eyes
For some reason, all contact lenses have been irritating fo me ever since I've gotten a -3.25 prescription EXCEPT for Coopervision! So Biofinity have been the only lenses I have been buying for the last couple of years.
I have a question, if i wear and sleep in monthly extended wear contacts for 6 nights straight do i have to throw it away or is it still good for the rest of the month as long as i clean it once a week?
Cooper vision Biofinity - really like them!
My mother used to use bausch and laumb lens and now when I'm going to visit a doctor for contact lens she has already told me that she will buy bausch and laumb yearly contact lens for me. Btw I'm in High school (got promoted into 12th few weeks ago) and I'm 16 years old , will be 17 this September. Kinda excited and kinda nervous
Hi sir i am ajay Kumar from India rajasthan, suffering from Stephen Jonson syndrome (sjs), with severe dry eyes, since last 12 years, doctor advised me for the punctual plug and contact lenses please suggest sir 🙏🙏🙏🙏
🔷💥Which team are you on? Monthly lenses or Daily Lenses?
I have monthly contacts do I change them once a month or every two months ?
Daily lenses keep slipping of my eye, My Oasis lenses feel a little tight but at least i can see
I love my monthly lenses which I can sleep in for the entire month- its like not having anything at all as I pop them in on the first of the month and take them out on the last day. Have used these for 8 years and love them. One important issue that i have with dailies which the doctor fails to mention is the enormous amount of waste involved in using daily and individually packed lenses. Seriously- we all know that the ocean are drowning in plastic so I think its an important issue to factor in.
im glad I started with dailies. Everything about them seems easier and fits my lifestyle .
well I have 2 month contatcs on a year box, so I don't get this video
Monthly, more like 3 month lenses...
What about yearly contact lenses ?
so like when they said daily contacts,do you need to wear it like everyday?
Dailies are expensive.. even though you know it's good.
I use dailies but irregularly, mostly for out of door activities like xc skiing/cycling etc. Is it ok to use a pair of dailies intermittantly. Say I was out half day cycling and took them out when coming back, put them in storaga sol'n and use them again for same, day following?
I only wear daily lenses. In my past I had monthly, but I think they were thicker, so I got faster dry eyes from it. And as you mentioned, monthly lenses get dirty and are not very comfortible after some time.
Also, huge factor for me is that with daily, not wearing contacts for a week or two at a time wont be a waste of contacts. That just means I don’t have to buy contacts for those weeks. Also, if you’re just trying out contacts, you can buy enough for a month instead of for a year
I was using monthly and irritated my eyes . After I saw your videos how to clean the contacts I think was not claiming them well because my eye Doctor didn’t explain me well how to do it. He said take them out and put them on the solution at night. I was not the correct way to cleaning them . I change to daily contacts like I love them. I use the Clariti . That I love them. When Covit19 hit I stop using them because I didn’t feel safe. Well now I found a new eye Dr and I asked for my contacts RX but my old RX still the same even so I need a bit more for reading but the Dr order them a bit stronger well they were to strong and I keep my old RX for my contacts.
What about daily lenses while traveling?
When dailies are not around 3-4 times more expensive than Monthly's, I might consider them.
For someone that only wears lenses on rare occasions or switches between glasses and lens often I’d recommend dailies. I used monthly before switching to dailies. And I would find myself throwing out a pair of expired lenses that I only used maybe 10 times a month.
Folks. . . Don't ever buy Cooper Vision products such as Biofinity. They come out with miniscule tears which makes them easily "tearable." Hence you'll have to keep on exhausting your wallet.
Please how can i know my contact lences size
I wrestled and played football so contacts simply needed to be apart of my life. Unfortunately from day one I just didn't feel comfortable with them in. Did not like the feeling of a hair in my eye or the constant need to rub my eye or blink. After getting over that I learned that waking up at the very last minute with unwarranted panic was not compatible with good hygiene with contacts aslo when I smoked the devils lettce my eyes turned redder than the devils dick as my grandma says. as a successful guy in his 30s I can't be in walmart with people laughing at how high I look 😅 I do miss me some $5 sunglasses 😎
Hi, I have compound myopic astigmatism; had been using toric contact lenses and all was well. Moved to another country, got a new Rx and now I can´t read up close with them on. Doctor says it is presbyopia...but without the lenses I still read and see pretty well up close. Why? The doctor does not explain....
Hey, I play goalie in soccer And I take soccer seriously. Can I play in a sand pitch with contact lenses. Please answer.
Just tried monthly (Bausch and Lomb Ultra Multifocal for Astigmatism) first time yesterday and it seems to me that they have a very strong magnetic pull to my iris - they were harder to move them to the white part of my eye compared to the Acuvue Oasys daily disposal. Did you find the Monthly harder to remove compared to the Daily?
My optometrist switched me to the Vitas after about 10 plus years of using the biofinity because they were just drying out on me so quickly. So far I like the comfort way better of the vitas but I can feel the lenses on the corners of my eyes. It does look like the lenses are a little bigger than the biofinity. Is this something I’ll adjust to?
After trialing some of my contacts, I've been noticing some differences in the optics of the lenses, despite the prescription being the same. It seems like the Biofinity and the Ultras incorporate an aspheric lens design. Did you notice any differences in vision?
I have astigmatism, If I choose 8.6 BC contacts I need to get the toric lens. However, if I choose 8.4 BC it works fine. Any suggestions?
Hey! I noticed that the center thickness of the Acuvue Vita lenses is 0.07 mm whereas the center thickness of the Acuvue Oasys 1-Day is 0.085 mm. This is interesting to me because I always thought that monthly contact lenses were much thicker than dailies. I've wanted to try out the Acuvue Vita because I find that the large diameter of the Acuvue Oasys 1-day and the thickness bother me towards the end of the day (not drying, but they feel quite bulky). Would you say that the Acuvue Vita contacts feel as if they are on the thinner side?
Thoughts on biofinity energys?
Hi, Does water Content makes big difference while choosing montly lenses? Bausch and lomb monthly has 66% water content whereas acuvue vita has 41%
I take random daily daytime naps.. and would prefer to not take out my contacts. So is it better to switch from Acuvue Oasys daily Astigmatism to the Oasys fortnight version as they are extended wear? It seems like both have the same dk/t on their website.. but only one is approved for extended wear.
Great videos! I use Oasys 1 day torics - so much better than the acuvue moist! Would you say the vita would fit well (is the 0.1mm in BC change significant?)
Do you wear glasses or contacts on a daily basis? If it's glasses, I'd be curious why, as you praise lenses quite a lot :)
The acuvue vita only has a 8.6 base curve option, while my prescription is 8.7. I'm currently using the biofinity lens also covered in this video, but find them uncomfortable. Do you think I should be able to switch? My optometrist advises against it, but I'm thinking that is because he doesn't sell them.
Hey, great video! I'm currently using Acuvue Oasys Daily Contacts, however, they are quite expensive and I've wanted to transition to monthly contact lenses. From your experience, does the fit and level of comfort of the Acuvue Vita feel similar to the Acuvue Oasys Daily contact lenses? Thank you!
Can you do a review about night and day air optix
In terms of 1-day toric lenses 2021, have you tried Precision1? Acuvue Oasys work well for me (for a few hours at least), but I'm considering trying Precision1 to see if it could be a better fit. Would love to see a review! :)
Hey! Which one, in your opinion, is better. Biofinity toric or Ultra toric. Thanks!
Excellent video. Does cleaning solution help with comfort at all?
Is there any possibility that I can swim with lenses on.. as I have extremely weak eyesight and obviously I can't wear my glasses durin a swim.. or can you suggest an alternative for swimmers??
Btw love your videos.... 😃
great video ! So many different options out there so its nice to have a video guide like this
2:04 Pure Hazel
3:15 Sterling Grey
4:12 Gemstone Green
6:52 Brilliant Blue
7:37 True Sapphire
True Sapphire 😍
Can you try 2 blues !! I want to see the final result not just 1 contact at the time :)
Horrible lenses. A lot of company like Solotica, Color CL, Desio ecc… did a much grater job.
More Natural, beautiful colors and different patterns… I don’t understand why a such big company like Alcon don’t wanna change that fake pattern. I’d love to use cosmetic lenses from a reliable company like Alcon but I tried every color and they simply are bad.
Thank you for this video. You made choosing the right color very easy. Turquoise!
I think you have dark hazel eyes
your natural eyes are sooo beautiful! thank you for this amazing vid
Great video! Thank you!
I liked the talking; and you are witty the problem is most people are impatient and don't know how to laugh or be happy. The video was fine.
Is there any way you can let me know if these colored mess up your vision I was told I can't wear colored contacts because I have a astigmatism is this true or false
thanks for doing this. I am going to try the sterling grey.
The turquoise is stunning on you 😍
Heads up - I have blue eyes and the amethyst is still really subtle. It basically just looks grey unless you’re really close.
Talk as much as you want girl!!!!!
The best video iv seen from contact lenses😍
Youre a delight! I picked sterling grey lenses, they look really nice i think. Looking forward :) greetings from Germany
Sterling and gray.... love them!
Thank you for video! It was exactly what I was looking for.
I use the regular grey on my brown eyes that are a little darker than yours. My eyes turn an aqua blue, quiet light in colour. Very different to how it changes your eye colour. I was really surprised on how so much more blue tones come out when i wear them compared to you.
Thank you for making this video.
