It's an unbox not a review ffs

Why would you open the box like that, so carelessly 😰
I stopped watching after 40 seconds. People… If you going to make a video… Edit the damn thing!
What Akg C 1000 mic's has the best models out of that brand for rap and sound ?
How many khz is this and if it's too low do i need a interface to boost the mic volume ?
Y U Open It Like That??? 😒
Thankyou very much..
whats phantom power?
Don't think in E when you sing E, think in O instead or you can try with I, depending if you want to make it warmer or more agressive in high frequencies. Singin E like E, in your case leads to going out of tune, and change position of vowels, wich dificult the rest of the ejecution as you have to go back to the prior position, doing that all the time doesn't help you. Try singing only vowels when you rehears, and you will see that singing E like E is not convenient but doing it thinking and having an interior O position is better, or I as i said depending on what you want to achieve in sound. just that will make big difference, you can play a game singing only vowels which will help you to sing vowels chained, legato, and when you rehears, try changing them to see if you feel better with O, A or I, or even in some cases U, but E shouldn't exist in your singing.
I have seen right now you do the same with the rest of the vowels, this make you go out of tune, choose one vowel and stay with that one, and put the rest on that one.
Yes you do also the I in the high notes as I, and that should be either A or O, else throath won't open, when this happens (when throath opens) you will need better support, and this is achieve by singing more like with your belly, like if you were imitating some opera singer, when you imitate opera singers, you put a position, that is the correct position to sing, but you don't open so much as they do, just change vowels, and think you are Callas, is a visualization matter, changing vowels and thinking you are an opera singer meanwhile you do your stuff, throath will open and you will sing less tight and much better, with your beautifull voice and sensibility.
Is it good for podcast?
What is the name of double-voice song? pls
is that clear sound? What effect is it with? Very beautiful.
Haha I’ve been using this mike since 2004 and stil has not packed in. It’s a fucking champ. Def crush’s the asking price for value.
Superb vocals by the way
AKGC1000S will work for Metal distortion guitars from amplifiers? What do you think?
Oh, snap. Didn't realize this is Rob's channel. Audio nerd warning but have you tried using a little pre delay on that verb? A little pre delay and maybe the Abbey Road EQ curve so her voice doesn't get so swamped. Thanks.
Been using an older style AKG C1000 for about ten years. The older ones use a 9 volt battery. We used it originally for live performances, because our pa did not ha e phantom power. I LOVE this mic. It really does everything well !!!
Chappers!! your wife is an AMAZING singer, ever thought of making something evanescence-ish project, u know potent riffage plus amazing singer?
i doesn't like the c1000 anymore. But i like your Vid especially the Dimmu-Part in 4:54min. What a Voice! :D
I really liked the song with the guitar. Suited your voice very well.
Nat, can you please do a full vocal cover of Blackbird :D
Nat uses a 2i2, got one myself and they're great value.
she has a great voice
That`s my favourite part of progenies of the great apocalypse :)
More dimmu lol
Came to hear the demo of the mic, and it has become my favorite acoustic song with female vocals ever! 😍
Wonderful! This lady would sound great singing out of any microphone.. I love it.
World’s best song ever done for a “mic demo”. The only mic demo I’ve ever cried to. The cascading harmonies & deep lyrics are pure poetry.
great song :) and nicely executed
What a beautiful voice I heard singing... Thank you for sharing.
You have a Great Voice 🙂
Regards from Chile!!! i've came because i'll buy the mic... but i can't stop hearing that amazing song... hypnotised at all!!!! i've tried to found that song on Spotify but I only could see your "Out of Darkness" album, Could you please put that song on Spotify as a Single release? Thanks a lot for the magic and emotional moment!
i gonna buy the mic right now
Song was great, like a classic David Coverdale ballad. That's high praise. Excellent.
Like most other people, here as considering buying a pair of C1000 but enjoyed the song. Lovely voice. Enjoyed.
Since this was supposed to demo the mic, the vocals needed to be clear. I could only make out about 1 in 5 words she was singing. I don't know if the fault lies in her lack of enunciation or the mic's clarity, or both.
Great music and performance!!
dulce voz, parece a Nathalie Lorichs de Opeth
a little Joni in there... nice
What a beautiful song🔥🔥🔥
Oh yeah, the mic sounds fantastic too😅
Wow nice. Just today I pulled out my AKG C1000S which I bought in the 1990s but has been in storage! On stage the feedback was bad so I retired it. I recorded a song today, and it sounded just like it did 20 years ago. Mackie mixer PROFX6V3 connected by USB to my laptop running Audacity. Just thought I'd let people know how long the mic will be around!
Great recording, is the mic on hypercardoid mode with insert?
May use to tabela?
Cant find a sample of a male using it though. hmmmm post a clip
The latest generation of this microphone (the AKG C1000s MK4 - presumably 4th generation, which is impressive for a mic design that's around 40 years old) runs on 2 AA batteries instead of a single 9-volt battery and is coloured black.
Thanks for that.. that PPC are you talking about the little wedge that fits over the diaphragm inside?
I use two of these for live overheads on my drumkit. They work great. Built in pop filter and shockmount also. It is a reliable tough and durable mic, IMO for what I bought and use them for. Cables are a key performance factor with any mic, as is the quality of the cymbals. The music business, you get what you pay for and when once you know how to play, you then are only as good as your gear. Yeah I got shures also, and sennys and beyers. Broaden your minds. There is more to life than audix.
Could I use the AKG as videomic, shotgun, etc
@lunthayphudi Both convertor 'caps' installed by unscrewing mesh top, HOLDING bottom of rubber shock mount whilst pushing on (with a little twist) or pulling off (with a little twist). A good, versatile mic.
Hey man, great video! I'm thinking about getting a GT 66 because it sounded great on your video. Did you use a de-esser in the video or just compression??
@042493penilla why wouldnt u want it grounded? thats the whole point of an XLR, use 1/4 inch (converter) or re wire it disconnectiong the ground. but im not sure if that would work. if u dont want it tho.. for whatever odd reason
The ppc is a plastic cap that slots over the capsule, it comes with the mic, there is one that hypes the high frequencies for speech purposes aswell.
Hey just wondering if you know how to apply the ppc converter on the mic. LIke what do u actually do physically i have the mic but don't undrestand how to convert to ppc is their a switch for it?
I was told that this mic cannot be connected to the mac directly.. and I would need a converter .. Is that true? If so, which one do you recommend.
I recorded an entire album with one of these and its great on percussion as well.
If you are just building a home studio its the best, and after becoming a pro you won't reject it neither.
@romitzza wow i so glad you told me before i bought one. but did you buy a large diaphragm mic? or how did you resolve the issue?
@Nautilus987-In the end I bought Rode M3, does the same job and has a better price. After testing it a lot I realised that I didn't like at all the sound my violine had on the M3 and later I've found out that this type of mic is much more better on acoustic guitar and overhead vocals than for what I needed it. I think that a large diaphragm mic will be much more suited to violin sounds. In the end it's about testing a lot before u buy.
@romitzza dude I am planning to do the same thing! how did it go??? how did the mic hold up?
so this has a pop filter on the inside?
how is the akg 220 for vocals
i think i heard you say that phantom power will boost the signal. I remember being reemed for saying that in audio class. because phantom power specifically just polarizes the plates of the mic, and powers the ICA. and does not sweeten, or boost the signal in anyway. merely allows the mic to function.
That GT66 sounds awesome.
