That's way too idealistic. We'd be living in a utopia if so were the case. Imagine stoping the aging process meaning, no more breeding and therefore, no more evolution.
It'll also sadden the population who are poor, can't afford the cost for immortality. It'll only lead to EVEN more agony and despair of losing a human life since humans can die via accidents, etc. if not by old age.

I'm sorry I wouldn't want to stop/reverse my age. I could see a chance they could slow down aging but as for stop aging or prevent death, it's inevitable since nothing in this world yet alone this entire universe doesn't last forever everything eventually dies. Enjoyvur life while u can and help yourself healthy.
The big question here? Is aging programmed in to a species? or is it an accidental process? (death by a million cuts)? There seems to be evidence for both theories.🤔

I love videos that talks about reversing aging. I hate aging. I am 70, but I still get statements that I look 10 years younger. In fact, my energy is still through the roof, no medical issues, just minor back pains which is inevitable. I read about Dr. Sinclair's book "Why We Age, and Why We Don't Have To," very educative. There's no point increasing lifespan without. The goal should be to live longer while staying young and healthy. Sinclair believes that in the foreseeable future, it's possible for humans to live beyond 120 or even 150, without the frailty, diseases and disability we now associate with old age. We are obsessed with living longer at any cost. Most people after 65 are just dead people sitting up. Quality over quantity.
I was prescribed metformin for PCOS because I can gain weight easily and it suppresses my appetite.
Some people cannot tolerate metformin. I could not function. Had to just sit around or sleep. Too much fatigue. After a year I gave up. Feel fine without it. Dr claimed not possible. But I have read about others on internet.
