Good study technique sir
super lecture thank so much sir
Thankyou for uploading these type of video.
U are absolutely phenomenal sir.
Thankyou sir
Good class sir.... 🙏🏽
bilkul hi time waste kiya
Thanks dear prof. Great work
Excellent explanation for Doubly fed generator. Sir, you said that in a doubly fed generator the rotor and stator will have same number of poles. We have a 900KVA,1000V, 3 phase ,200HZ generator. The stator has got 72 slots and the rotor has 86 slots. The generator got burnt. The rotor could not be rewound successfully by the rewinder because of the number poles difference between stator and rotor. Out of 86 slots, 82 slots have 4bar in each slot and 4 slots have 2bar in each slot. The windings of stator and rotor is different. Please clarify the following. 1. Is the number of poles same in rotor and stator? 2. If so, please help me with rotor winding drawing.
at 10:26 if it is running at 10% speed than slip frequency is Ws-Wm=100%-10%=90% ????????
If we apply dc than also rotor will accept voltage at slip frequency
Nice class Sir......
Best explanation on the topic. Clearly highlights the necessity of DFIG in the context of wind turbine.

What a good explanaition. I understand it better now!
you saved me. thank you!
very helpful many thanks
Nice explanation! Wondering if there is likely to be a course on Electrical traction on your website in the future?
doubly fed induction generators are also applicable to hydroelectric pump turbines. Variable speed.
Hello I am a student from germany, really well explained!
4:05 you actually calmed me lol
Thank you sir good explanation.
Thank you sir
Well explained

You explained it perfectly,👏👏👍
Very nice lecture ...
انت مصرى صح؟
I have 3 questions 1)The grid is present in the stator side but it is fed current (it abosrbs power). So the over one cycle it aborbs power since voltage and current will have opposite polarities 2)What about reactive power ? How is it controlled ? 3)If we replace the grid/three phase source on stator with a three phase load would current still flow through the load?
Love ur accent....love from India
sir how can we implement it on simulink??
Does the model have a frequency control?
sir please share lecturer in pdf format
Hello, it's a great video. Could you please tell me the start-up procedure of DFIG? I mean how actually run the DFIG. First, it runs as a motor when it takes power from the grid and then when its speed more than synchronous then it becomes a generator. My confusion is how it goes to over synchronous mode, from where it gets more speed..? It would be great if you give this answer. Thanks in advance.
which software are u using,,,can i do it in matlab
hi, can u help me some. is full-scale converter popular in wind turbine now? and what type of generator using this converter ? cuz i see most turbine using DFIG but converter of DFIG is just partly converter... thank you
