Yep. This comment is off-topic. I apologize. Just really desperate. Struggling for the past couple of months. Perhaps, since pandemic started. Lost pretty much everything. Have to stoop this low in order to pay bills & feed the fam. There are days though that I almost got back to my feet & then things happened. Life's crazy. A roller coaster ride. But I've been down for so long. If you're financially blessed, would you mind sharing some to me? I badly need my laptop to be fixed or get a new one, whichever is practical, in order to work & earn during the lockdown (got a job opp but can't start bec I don't have a laptop). I did try everything I can. Can't really afford to get the laptop fixed or get a new one. If I have a few penny, it'll only goes to bills. One scratch, one peck. But yeah, if you don't really mind. Stupid brand with unskilled customer service, that sells computer with malfunctions, motherboards out of service after few days then after repair motherboard out of service over and over and of course after the warranty if off the computer crash again due to low quality components and poor customer service repair if we may call it this way. Honest review. I own one Swift 5, and I agree with you. In my case, fingerprint screen scanner worked very well with no issues. I am very satisfied with my Swift 5 laptop :)
Complains about fingerprint scanner not recognising finger while repeatedly smashing finger on it every 2 seconds; besides that tho good review :)
UPDATE: It seems the constant background fan noise is caused by the pre-installed anti-virus software. Uninstalling it solves the issue (credit: PC Centric)

The screen, contrast, brightness and colour accuracy ARE excellent! Photos look excellent. So-this IS a perfect lap top for photo editing! I think the reviewer must have been wearing sunglasses for the review. I don't care what the NITS measurement says, the screen is great. Fan noise-unless I am totally deaf, I have never heard any! Hard drive? More than fast enough. A well made, lightweight laptop. Sure, if you want the best specs, screen and colour accuracy (according to higher quoted specifications) then pay another £500-£1000. But in the real world, I suspect the perceivable advantages would actually not be that noticeable. And not all of us have the money to spend!
