My daughter was issued one of these as a school notebook. It’s been through hell, dropped a few times as well. But, it just keeps going. She didn’t want it anymore after she got a nice, new HP laptop so passed it onto me. I still use it to process tasks my iPad Pro simply won’t or can’t do. Battery life is still quite good - full-screen video knocks the battery out in 2 hours, Remote Desktop still gets around 2 hours, 20 minutes, but general word processing and spreadsheets I can usually still squeeze 3 hours out of it. Another great aspect is it is really compact. When working in an “At-Call” capacity, it’s small and light enough to lug around with me in a compact laptop bag and works well with most Remote Desktop applications - especially AnyDesk which does not translate the iPad onscreen keyboard very well. And, most of the screen real estate doesn’t vanish because it has a *real* keyboard Not a fan of Acer laptops (repaired far too many hinge and power supply issues in the past) but this relatively low-end machine on its release date (2016) is still very usable now 5 years later. Add the Acer active stylus, it’s also great for signing off documents and some basic sketching / schematic diagrams as well when the iPad Pro is simply too big and (strangely enough) heavy to cart around…

Keyboard is crap.
Hey guys. Does someone experience the same problem with this convertible as me? My hdd from the keyboard dock always goes in sleep mode during copying/installing/video playback tasks. However the windows energy management was already tweaked to prevent hdd from the sleep mode - it is set to never. Anyony has the same problem? I am thinking about an ssd upgrade insetad of the hdd. Maybe it will fix the problem.

I remember this as my first laptop. It was the most dogshit laptop I've ever had. Only 2 GB ram, 20GB ssd, and to top it all off, an Intel Atom! What a joy.

Stay away from this - it sticks, jumps, stops at random and almost never flows commands. It may come with many elements but on a fundamental level it it a piece of shit.

Just bought this pc, two days ago; not bad, 4g ram with 64g storage, HK$2,300 (US$295), not bad, with touch screen, can link to external mon via hdmi port to enjoy 1920 x 1080 resolution, upgraded to windows 10 home 64 bit because the S mode cannot install full version of office, but I need to have a full version office, so decided to upgrade to the full windows 10, can link with ac wifi mode, tried to link to two youtube videos and three excel files, no lagging, so, quite happy with it overall, after all, don't expect too much for a pc of US$295 with these features.
I had one but Sadly i cracked my screen a little so the screen will not be touchable anymore to me but at least i still use the keyboard.
