Hi I just bought this 2nd hand yesterday and I just noticed there is a gap /loose between the screen and the bottom frame part near the acer logo. They are not stick together. I suspect previous user sell it due to screen got issue and shop repair and sell to me. May I know, those have this laptop, the panel is sealed tightly with the frame or have a bit loose. Thanks

So you should be clear and state the parts that are metal and the ones that are plastic (not hard TPU). So, we don't even know whether the lid is plastic with a metallic finish or purely metal. And we don't know what the chassis is build from.

This laptop is fast but Battery life isn't that long, i tried play Guardian tales and the battery takes 1-2 hours only with battery saver mode But it fast tho

Nightmare from Hell! I have essentially this notebook. I'm NOT a Windows user. I abandoned Windows more than 20 years ago. So, I struggled to find the process to boot from a live USB stick and install Linux Mint. (enable F12, boot into that UEFI, then boot off the stick) I replaced Acer's WiFi card with an Intel-chipped card ($20) and THEN the WiFi worked like a charm. I added a 2TB SATA HDD (came w/.5TB NVMe SSD) so I could move the Home to it to have decent storage for all my photos, documents, etc. UEFI sees it. Disks utility in Mint can't. GParted Live off a USB stick can't see it. The UEFI in this thing is EXTREMELY sparse and limiting in its tweaks & options. So far I can't find anything to get the HDD to work. (I swapped in another drive thinking maybe I got a dud. Went from a Seagate to a WD, but I'm running into the same problem.) Acer "support" is non-existent. The person I got on the phone didn't have a clue as to even distinguishing between UEFI an OS! I used to like Acer notebooks, but this thing has turned me off for life!

same laptop model I have but with an amd instead on mine. that dropbox app is actually a promotion where you can get 100gb free for the next 12 months. I got my acer last weekend and I love it, so much better than the clunky old lenovo I was using. that lenovo is now on a new leace of life thanks to linux, I also got microsoft 365 family for 15 months and allthough I can activate it or rather, confirm my product key it still requires I add a payment method of which I have none. what a waste of time. in turms of what I like doing the first app I installed was NVDA, a free screen reader to replace narrator because I am visually impaired, then google chrome. gotta ask why firefox is preloaded on these though but if you look at the version of firefox in the help menu it says firefox for acer. replaced norton with avast as I hate windows defendor because of how many falce positives it flags, at leest with avast you can create acceptions so easilly , you can easily run virtual machines on this computer provided you use an OS that doesn't use a lot of resources, older versions of ubuntu for instance, but this laptop is one of the best ones I have ever owned, the amd risen 5 chipset has 6 cores which is giving me the performance I need as well as I found that deleting large files doesn't take too long
