My Acer Aspire 5 A515-56 monitor goes black twice in the first week of purchase without any warning while working, it is really annoying that this is happening to a brand new laptop.
Just got this and so far so good. However, the hot airflow directly hitting the screen? I'm worried if that will damage the screen in anyway?

i bought this model 3 months ago and the performance is amazing. I've had no issues so far. Also you can upgrade ram as well as storage which we dont get in many other models. Only bad point is the battery life. you can only get 5 hrs with normal use and 2 hours if youre gaming

I bought a month ago an Aspire V Model A515-43-R3LY, AMD Ryzen 3. The resolution of the WEB camera is rubbish. Practically, it is a VGA camera. I thought that the camera of the equipment was bad from the factory, and I sent the equipment under warranty, and as proof, some photographs taken with the cameras of two Aspire V equipment, bought in 2019 and 2013. The technician replied: "for us it is normal the operation of the camera of your equipment ... I inform you that your equipment that I bought in 2019 has better features than the recent one, because it has an integrated NVIDIA graphics card to your equipment and an Intel processor both integrated to your equipment which they make a difference in the quality of your equipment ... I don't mean to say that the equipment you acquired is bad but ... ". The last straw is that the photos taken with the camera of an Aspire V purchased in 2013 are much better than those taken with the current camera !!!! So if you are going to use this equipment for video conferencing, online classes, etc., I do not recommend buying this equipment, unless you are in for a horrible surprise.
