what happens if you put ink in the vent hole
Mine was working fine till today !! Help it keeps saying empty and its full not sure what to do it wont let me print

Note ppl this does not apply to the Epson wf 4740 yet this is the practice al method he is showing you. But do not buy based on cart. Size. The rabbit hole is deeper. If your doing sublimation the 4740 does not have chipless firmware yet nor does not have a chip reset. So he is right but if u have this model it still yet to be tricked out... So ATTENTION CONCEPT IS TRUE BUT NOT ALL CAN CONVERT PROPERLY. DO RESEARCH AND THEN DO RESEARCH ON THAT RESEACRH BEFORE U BUY A USELESS MACHINE BASED ON TITLES... Thanks for making these videos, very interesting. As a small but professional printer and publisher myself I always go for pigment inks, because the run-proof and fade resistance is worth the cost over dye-ink and in many cases, dye-ink (i.e. for publishing books) is just not practical to use where you need the degree of permanence that comes with pigment ink.That said, I do think Epson's prices for pigment ink are extortionately high. You can buy high quality pigment ink non-Epson branded which works just as good in Epson printers. Unfortunately the Epson EcoTank series (which Epson switched to dye-ink for) is not suitable for pigment ink I've been told it's prone to clogging with pigment ink and unless you're a printer repair expert or willing to keep having it serviced, it will make the printer useless within a few months.So what other Epson (or other brand inkjet) printers are there which have capacity inks and high monthly duty cycle (max recommended amount of pages can be printed) are out there? I'd be interested in suggestions. At the moment we've settled on Epson's Workforce Pro series which have 5,000 and 10,000 capacity ink bags of pigment ink, compatibles are available MUCH cheaper than Epson's (56 a set) but unfortunately they cannot be refilled as far as I know, so still quite expensive printers to run considering you can buy 4x100ml high quality pigment ink bottles for 12.

There's another major issue with dye inks on plain paper: they are absorbed into the paper and they can often be seen from the other side, which is an issue in duplex printing.Good video though and much more neat than older ones. Just be careful not to be spraying that water onto the printer along with the paper!
the stock 950 XL in Canada printed about 2600 2700 pages regular print size for a cost per page about 3.1 cents per page Canadian after the warning print about 200 pages before empty ink quality was good on regular paper.
Do you have problems with printing pictures? HP printer is not able to align with new replacement cartridge. Any advice?

This might be a dumb question but is there a difference in the actual size of the cartridge of the 951 xl and the non xl 951. Or is it just the amount of ink that's inside the cartridge?
