What the difference between a regular ride cymbal and a sweet ride.
Beautiful sounding ride cymbal. I wouldn’t use nylon tipped sticks — too hard sounding.

I have this ride and it substitutes as a right side crash too. All I use now are new beats, 18 A crash ride and Sweet ride and that's all I need now.

I'm not much of a fan of Travis Baker, but I will agree that he is a pretty tight drummer.
That was a concert in itself.
Zildjian made much better cymbals in the 60s, 70s and 80s, but nowadays they really disappoint me.The sweet sound that once was is gone. Shame on you Zildjian!!!

Just bought it. Super cool to buy the one that Gottlieb played. 
From Danny.. Played Paiste 1976-1994, Istanbul 1994-1995, Zildjian 1995-present. sorry for any confusion. Just looking for new sounds.. Paiste did not have a jazz line (Traditionals, etc) when I switched. I do like these new A's.. just played a 20 "New A" prototype flat.. To me....they are cymbals that are just very musical and have a great stick sound...
I thought Mr. Gottlieb always used Paiste ?..
