Man... I'm thinking of getting this but the gloss finish on the front is putting me off. I don't like how your forearm can get stuck on the gloss finish.

I've just bought an omen extreme 7 but I'm having troubles removing the fret rattle from the 3 low strings. Did you have to do any setup when you got yours? I think I might have to adjust the action for my strings but yours look real low from what I can see. Also, if you can remember, what strings do you use on yours?

I have the same guitar and wanted to get a 7 string so I could play some of my favorite songs that were on the 7. Mine also has a green tint to it but I can only see the green when I put it under close light. They also make the same guitar in 6 string form!

Its kind of a bummer that the heel of the neck is lacking a comfort carve, instead it has the typical box bolt on point like fender. ;( especially considering its price.)
One more thing, why is there a spoon carve on the top horn instead of the bottom? That particular carve is for higher fret access which ontop it can't provide. 😕 This design makes no sense for the price range, I love schecter but this model wasn't really thought out.

Agreed, the pickups is a bit too dark, but it is a good pickup, just a bit too dark.

I have one of these but I sold the pickups off in an Epiphone Explorer I had and fitted a Seymour Duncan Full Shred / Jazz set from a Blackjack SLS. The Blackjack got Bare Knuckle Black Hawks

I picked up one of these today for 329 🇺🇸 . This is my first metal guitar, normally I go for more traditional designs. It is built beautifully, and I could find a flaw...other than the pickups. When I got home and plugged it into my Marshall DSL40CR I was a little disappointed. For the price its an excellent build but I firmly believe I will be swapping pickups. It was just too cheap and played to well to pass up.

How long did it take you to get comfortable with the 7 string, iv been playing my 6 string peavey/Ibanez for sum quite time now, im looking into getting a 7.

I’m buying my own electric guitar (been borrowing a friends for about 8 months or so, not a complete noob haha) and I’m debating whether or not to go for a 7 string Schecter like this one, a 6 string Schecter or ESP LTD specifically the EC or MH models. I’m left handed so finding guitars with models I like is a pain but all of the above do have left handed models that actually look decent. I play a lot of metal/heavy metal, bands like Alpha Wolf, The Amity Afflcition, Wage War and such. What do you think?
Edit: my friends guitar is a 6 string Yamaha Rev so I haven’t actually played a 7 string before but a lot of the songs I want to learn require me to have a 7 string.
