Hikari Flowerhorn Parrot Food (Massivore Review)
Review: Sinking Carnivore Pellets Food by Hikari
Arowana Fish Food Review (Hikari Food Sticks)
Review: Hikari Mini Sinking Cichlid Gold Pellets
What kind of plants are those at the surface of your angelfish tank??! I’ve been trying to find plants like that for my community but don’t know what they are called
Parrot food stinks
On the amazon reviews, a handful of people say the parrot cichlid food had killed their fish. Have y'all experienced any deaths?
I have been using Hikari Gold sinking and floating pellets and my fish grow and get color. The food is good but if you overfeed it will make a mess. On the package it says to remove any excess food out of the tank. Now I only feed floating pellets because they are easier to clean up. Also I use Hikari blood worms and fish like it a lot. Should you use it. Maybe for the moment the food works. If I am going to breed the fish I will switch them only on life frozen food for at least 1 month and feed them like pigs. This usually with heavy water changes leads to eggs.
Maybe fishes are like humans.. don’t we love junk food too? Lol.. by the way great video.. I’m trying one of the Hikari food to my Ryukin.
Been using hikari foods of all types for 7+ years on all types of fish. Hikarki has a ton of supplemental foods frozen and dried. Pellets should only be used as like a staple food. All of my fish have grown very big and vibrant. (Flowerhorn, jardini, discus, mbuna, beta, cichlid fry, angel fish, multiple pleco types, Oscar's, jacks, ext) Note: I have always supplemented with beef heart, shrimp, white fish, hikari dried worms, dried shrimp and frozen hikari foods. Hikari is an excellent fish food if fed properly.
King kamfa food name sar
I use this brand for all my predictor tanks and they are clean Crystal clear water and never smell.. tanks will only stink if the gravel isn't well cleaned
read off the ingredients to us, please
I have been using this food only this food the fish love it but notice high volume of ammonia think it could be hikari blood red parrot food
One thing to keep in mind is that some of the fillers could actually be being used as binders instead
Cichlid gold is a good quality food. The rest of the line is not so good to me. I don't like the price vs the quality of the first 4 ingredients...
I don’t know where you got, “they’re just not of quality.” Our family has used several of the Hikari foods such as the Cichlid Gold and Cichlid Staple. I’ve never had any smelly water before, and I completely believe in Hikari 100%.
I have started using the Hikari Crab Cuisine at add some extra calcium for my snails. My snails will target in on the small pellets. It’s a very good product.
How do you break the habit of fish only eating one type of food? I keep clouded archer fish. They will only eat bug bites. I've tried at least six other types. They just spit it out. They will eat frozen blood worms, black worms. and crickets. I only feed those once a week.
That smell is probably the fish meal.considering hikari is made in Japan and the fish meal made in Japan is made up of mackerel, sardines, pilchard and sauries.
I changed food cause it stunk, I underfed as well. It was horrible (carnivores one)
I use hikari sinking cichlid pellets as a staple. My fish seem to like it more than frozen shrimp
Wohoooo I got my name mentioned :) Why not get five fish from the same batch of fry and then put them next to each other and feed each one a different food and then you can get a perspective on the best. My smaller cichlids like my Jack Dempsey love the hikari vibra bites
Hikari gold cichlid floating pellets starts to stink my tank and living room out. Still use them but cut down on feeding amounts to reduce pollution of smell. There great for my oscar fish and jack Dempsey colours are brilliant
Wrong, dude. “Meals” are NOT fillers. Just means all the water/moisture has been taken out. Get your facts straight.
Em.. in order to be pelletized any fish/shrimp/animal needs to become a meal... if you read whole fish or whole shrimp then that is merely a marketing ploy. Whole fish does go into the product, but in order for that whole fish to become that pellet it needs to be ground and dried. That grinding and drying process is the process by which that whole fish or shrimp becomes fish meal or shrimp meal. NLS and other high quality brands also use fish meal. They just choose to label it as something else to show the quality of the product.
Lol.... sometimes stupid people make videos.
Best fish food is your own shit that you flush on the toilet. Cheap and lots of vitamins.
Hikari is great food show me the evidence the ingredients are garbage over hundred years research and development with nothing but success???
Is there someone review multiple pellets product with something like an experiment. This is what I mean : a few aquariums same setups, same fish species that's bought from the same place at the same time. One pellet brand (or one diet type) per aquarium and one with mixed diet (for control ?, We can't just "don't feed the fish" right). After some time (months if possible) see the results : coloration, health, temperament, etc. Also the pellets effects to water condition. I don't really care what's in the pellets as long as my fish like it, it's good for them, and the result is great.
stupid
My red tail catfish would not touch pellets and was only eating shrimp. This is the first pellet that he ate
He bashes "meal" a lot and calls it a filler and fake when it's actually the main ingredients and are what's derived from the real thing :/ "Meal" can mean mushed up, or ground into. So ground versions of fish, krill, soybean and etc. are pretty logical if you wanna make small pellets with proportionate servings of each ingredient. Whatcha gonna do, buddy? Throw a whole fish into the Hikari packet? Guy makes an explanation video without looking up in the dictionary^ Also, "fillers" aren't bad when they're in right amounts, and if the fish are healthy, the food you're giving has a necessary and not too much amount of fillers. It's like humans to bread/rice/pasta - it's there to curb the diet. (And also vary the diet, and provide additional nourishment that meat doesn't have, but really this should be obvious by now.)
It's supposed to be an alternative to live feeding, but ok I get your point from a nutritional standpoint.
Actually fish and krill meal are freeze dried fish and krill powder. Do some research next time
you are full of shit Palmer.
So what's your recommendation for predatory fish pellets?
HI! is good for Angelfish?
How about massivore pellets?
I made my axolotl tank stink SO bad! I removed what wasn’t eaten after around 15 minutes and my tank smells horrible now and my ammonia spiked. I did a 30% water change and it still smells horrible but the ammonia has slightly decreased. I guess I will have to keep doing water changes. But I never had any issues in my tank until I tried these pellets yesterday.
Hikari is pretty good tbh, frozen is better
And I really liked the link you put on the description. It looks like it might be a good fit for my buddy rainbow crab. I especially liked the dried bloodworms that I can buy as a package witg two other foods.
Thanks so much for the information. I didn't think about ready my rainbow crabs food ingredients
Hey you palmer your brain not enough not quality its japan product its japan made. Its quality control very excelent
I dont always give pellet to my arowana and other predator fish..live food is the best! I can see how the fish catch the frog and it very exciting!
Hey bro I have a 24 inch 22 inch silver aro in a 220 gallon tank I have a 13 inch black aro and a 6 inch albino aro they slam those pellets the bigger Argos I feed the jumbo floating sticks I also soak there food in vitamin c made by Boyd entiprizes vitachem from seachem and garlic gaurd by seachem it is a huge hit it provides healing and parasite protection and they inhale it nice videos 👍
My flowerhorn dosent like flowerhorn food but loves these
Should I feed this food to my parrot fish?
I feed my 20 inch jardini arowana the Jumbo sticks Hikari and it loves it. I wish they made it bigger though bc after a handful, he still looks hungry.
The only fish food I feed . Food sticks for 10 years I even did a experiment on fry form the same batch and one tank I feed new life & other food sticks . Food sticks fry grew faster by a lot and more colorful
As of now I feed my oscars, jaguar and jack Dempsey frozen blood worms but they are juveniles. I do give them bug bites! Awesome video! Fish look great
Love your videos, mine normally love hiraki but mine didn't like these sticks , oscar , midas and red devil ,
I have ah 600 gallon intex pool im going to put my fish inside the poolpond this spring
It doesn't have to say preditor fish food to be preditor fish food. The ingredients suck. I love your videos, but this food is junk.
PB stands for personal best in PB bass? I'd never heard of anyone referring to peacock bass as PB bass, new term that I wasn't aware of, maybe?
Also, I love your videos. They have made be become more interested and better at the hobby. Keep up the vids!
Hi. I have a 40 breeder with a Flowerhorn in it. I am looking to get a canister filter and I don’t know if they are good and which one to get. The fluval 307 or 407?
What is the best way to keep cichlid pellets fresh longer?
Hey, do you think you can give me some advice on why slightly larger Parrot Fish sorta bullies my slightly smaller parrot Fish? I don’t think he bites him but he sorta pushes him around and bumps into him.
I feed my Arowana the Cobalt Predator sticks and u can tell there working!
He needs to do a analysis on how to not suck at making YouTube videos 😂. DIY Joey for life🤘
Chris you ever tried JBL Dragon Sticks
Coins are better to use for scale.
I feed that exact hikari stick to my spotted African leaf fish, and my clouded archer fish. My angels and bichir get a little too when they snag it. I’ve been feeding them it for about a year along with a variety of other pelleted food (fluval bug bites etc.) frozen foods (frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, blood worms, beef heart) and some live foods (live brine shrimp, live crickets or meal worms, live blood worms)
Hikari quality made in Japan
Hi bro..I have 1 request...please tell this sinking cichlid gold pellers bichirs feeds or not? Please reply fast
They have bigger pellets
Hey if your looking for a better food from hikari try cichlid excel mini pallet. I found it works better than the Hikari gold range.
How mutch do I feed my 6 chilids at 3cm
I recently had a fish die from fungus on the food that was left at the bottom. Going forward I was thinking of only feeding floating food, because it is less likely to get stuck in the substrate or a fish not seeing it. BTW I keep African Cichlids. What are your thoughts with my theory?
Man after my own heart I have many different foods for my fish and keep switching them around so the fish get a wide range
I actually prefer the mini sized pellets because it's easier for the fish to swallow. I find that my large cichlids tend to grind the larger pellets before swallowing. A lot of food debri gets thrown out thru the gills if I use larger pellets.
Can you do a reveiw on hicari allège wafers
Hikari sinking cichlid gold large pellets thats good for my 8 inch oscar
Nice review, got my pair of agentea bulk up with hikari biogold u can use the large size pellet for ur large cichlids, new subsciber here👍🏼
Great video! All of your videos are, u should do a room tour ? 🙏 lol
