Having bought one of these in the UK for insane money not long after this video got put up I'd love Jay to go back and review if anyone should upgrade or not.. (Edit: I've searched for another one second hand and they honestly don't seem to exist anymore, they were that in demand I had to wait for restocking and never seen one sold since.)

I got a 1080 hybrid in late 2017, and still to date this card has never had heat issues or any performance issues whatsoever. Its also very quite as well, and look slick in the case with its own loop, combined with a different closed loop for the cpu i've setup.

my friend just ordered this because it was the best deal we could find for a 1080 at this time. i dont trust aios all that much, and its a refurb so it does include a limited warranty, but in the event of failure if the warranty route fails, can anyone confirm some third party coolers that may fit, be it AIO or otherwise. i could fix it myself quite easily, but im not sure he would have such an easy time rebuilding a card.
Can the tube be swapped out for clear tubing?
There is no "FTW" stated on the box. I think it is just "hybrid" version not the "FTW Hybrid' ?. correct me if im wrong because i see someone unbox ftw hybrid with ftw stated on the box.

lol good luck when the radiator eventually fails. AIO coolers and hybrid cards are so unreliable. Bought a FTW3 Hybrid myself awhile back. Pump failed a few months later. Got it replaced while it was still under warranty until the pump failed AGAIN! Sold the card and bought the SC2 Gaming for over $200 less than what I got the ftw3 hyrbid. Never had another problem with the gpu again.
And what i like about this card (just bought it) is that they care more about longevity than competition. The MSI AIO 1080 ti has cooler temperatures compared to this one, but that's only the case because that copper plate we saw in the video covers the VRMs as well, so in a sense even the VRMs are liquid cooled, while the MSI cools the VRMs with the single fan on the card, good choice EVGA !
I'm planning to buy a EVGA GTX 1080 TI FTW3 Hybrid but I'd like to know how to install it properly. My CPU cooler is a Noctua NS-D15 and it's positioned horizontally, blowing air to the back of the case. My Case is a Corsair Carbide 600c. I think putting the GPU radiator on the bottom is not a good idea. I don't know if the hose is long enough to put it on the front. Is it a problem putting it on the back. I mean, is it safe to put it right after the Noctua?
I like the video but would be very cool to see it functioning in your system while you are running your benchmarks.

what did you say?? did you say the switch is for the fan?? no it isn't, its for the bios....Slave bios gives you 127% power target and up to 90 degrees c temp max. Master limits you to 117% power target and 80 degree c (if I remember). There are two different bios on this card for overclocking....

How is the pump noise at idle? Some people in the forums said it is too loud.
I have this card and in its standard configuration out of the box, it was decently quiet and the temps were great. When I went in to replace the fan and put noctua, the temperature when up about 5c and when i switched back to the original set up the EVGA fan started spinning at 100% all the time, even with the XOC software manual adjustments and curve fan setting. Nothing worked. I had to switch it over to a MB header and control it through software, but gets nowhere near the performance it was getting before I decided to unplug and replace the fan for the first time... Any thoughts? I've tried all the basics and have not contacted EVGA about it. Seems strange to me.
Question I have on these aio gpu’s how long does the coolant last inside? If you had to replace it, what would be the cost? Or do you need to replace the whole card?...

1:35, You should NEVER mount your rad with your hoses in the upright position. EVGA strongly advises that you put the hoses in the downward position. Otherwise, your pump has to overwork itself to complete the cycle of fluid from rad to card.

you can snag these cards in amazing condition for 400$ or less on ebay now. I got mine with the power adapter for 380 a few weeks ago. If ray tracing doesnt matter to you, these cards are still AMAZING. im pushing 135fps in 4k on Warzone and 400fps solid on league of legends max settings with an oc 8700k @ 5.1ghz and 2x8 16gb ddr4 corsair vengeance ram @ 3000 mhz oc from 2400mhz stock.

AIO water cooler should be always be tested for more than 1 hour to get the real temps. This review is not showing the real temp after usage.
How is the Hybrid edition versus the SC2 gaming edition (non-hybrid)? Is there a huge performance difference? I don't plan on overclocking, so which one should I get?

There isn't a pc component that is non-maintenance. The user needs to keep that heatsink free of dust.

Anyone have issues with the 3 pin fan after disconnecting it from the gpu? After I did and tried a different fan with PWN on the mobo, when I went back to the OEM fan for the rad the XOC would no longer have control the fan now spins at 100% and does not ramp down even with the auto settings.

Here we are three years later. The RTX3080 launch has been a complete debacle and people were discounting their cards like crazy because the new 30 series was going to crush everything. Last night I bought this card for $320 because it's got more grunt than the RTX2070S or the RTX2080. I needed a better card for my machine (FS2020) so I bought a three year old GPU. I'll wait until the stupidity subsides sometime in March 2021 and get myself an RTX3070. Maybe. I'll still be able to sell the 1080TI for what I paid for it.
I have this GPU and it suxs balls.. EVGA's precision software is failsauce.. It's buggy as fuck and NEVER saves settings upon reboot..
