they should have a version with finger buttons/triggers to replace the left, right mouse buttons and even have a scroll wheel between the pointer and middle finger. Would have been an easier transition from mouse usage then use that thumb button as a back and forward toggle for browser usage

I'm in the market for an ergonomic mouse now, so this was very helpful. The 3M also appears to be reasonably priced compared to other makes. Very encouraging that the discomfort and trouble went away simply by replacing the conventional mouse.

I bought it today as I am having some stiffness around my wrist and arm , I hope it works for me........
i have been using the logitech trackman marlbe mouse to combat and recover from carpel tunnel surgery.  however, seeing that even surgery is not going to completely fix me up, and the fact that after about two years the trackman starts double and tripple clicking, i am very seriously considering this product.  my only reservation is transitioning from navigating with my index finger to using my arm or wrist. 
Hi Tracey, thanks. Sorry I don't know if the mouse is compatible with the Macbook Air. So far I have only used it on regular iMacs, White Macbook and Windows machines.
HI Geoff, Great video - I swear by this mouse too! I've been using it for about 6 years myself. I have though recently change from a PC to a Macbook Air and haven't been able to get this mouse to connect to my Macbook Air USB drive. I've googled and not found anything yet - so been using the mac trackpad, but really want to get the 3M connected. Have you come across this at all? Do you have any suggestions on how I could get this connected? Cheers

Hi Natalie, that's wonderful to hear you also find the 3M Ergonomic mouse effective. For me it is a life saver. I would be unable to do my job as a software developer without this mouse!
I've also been using this mouse for several years. Immediately the pain in my hand/wrist went away. This is the only mouse for me.

Please be nice to try this Mouse if you can use it with the 3d program www.blender.org I have a disease called dupuytren and I can not straighten my fingers and I would like to buy this type of mouse But I do not want to dock lose money if it can not work in 3D software. this software is open source and I would like to learn to work with it. Nice, a plus of that mouse is that it doesn't cut your circulation unlike the regular mouses that require you to rest part of your wrist on the table or mouse pad.
