These cues are junk! BUT I will say this... Find a cue that works for YOU! What might work for Joe Schmoe might not work for you. But these cues would work great to sit around a campfire and eat marshmallows.

It should be "Top 5 beginner budget cues " The only one they got right was players. Ther others feel cheaply made and don't play very well, but they'll do fine for the casual player who doesn't want to spend hundreds on a cue.
Those cues would be great for moving wood logs around in a camp fire

question doc, so your cue is 20.5 oz but behaves like a lighter cue, does that mean even though its heavy at 20.5, you still get the cueball action that a light cue has compared to a heavy cue that doesnt have that much cue ball action? thanks
I just bought a 16 oz and I'm loving it. I highly recommend everyone try out one of the super light cues you can often find at pool halls. Even if you're absolutely sure about your preferred cue weight, it's worth experimenting to get perspective on techniques and strategies that you can't usually employee with a heavier cue. The almost surgical precision of a lighter cue allows for maximum cue action with minimal power, making technical position play easier to incorporate into your game

Yes I agree! I started out shooting pool with I believe may have been 19 or 20 oz. Later I went to 21 and loved it. After some years when I really wanted to dedicate more of my time and focus to the sport I then switched to 18 oz and noticed a tremendous difference with controlling the cue ball but also noticed the many flaws in my stroke. I experimented with several weights and an extension and it all took time getting used to a different weight and/or extension but also, it was easy to keep the cue straight yet harder to control the touchy shots. Currently I shoot with 18oz to keep better control over touchy shots, generating speed for spin, and to continue working on delivering the cue straight and through the ball. I feel I can use just about any weight now, it's just a matter of getting used to it and developing or reativating the muscle memory. But I'm so used to 18oz now so I'll just stick with that....at least for now.
